Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our etrailer boat trailer winch. It's gonna have a twenty three foot long included strap, a nice handle that's about seven inches tall of usable space and it's rated at 600 pounds capacity. Now folks, this is a gear ratio of 3.1 to one and it has a nice ratcheting hand winch- or a nice ratcheting system here in the winch to help you load your boat up onto your trailer, and it's a nice solid one piece gear for durability. Now I just had this handle not even tightened all the way 'cause it's a nylon lock nut there, so I don't wanna use it and mess it up. But lemme pull some of this out here, you can simply put it in free spool and then at that point, you can literally just pull the cable or the winch strap out.
I'll try to do it without hurting myself, there we go. So that's enough. And then if you want to winch it in, just lock it back in place and then you just simply crank it up. (winch clatters) So again, very easy to use. A nice clasp on the end here, spring loaded, so it's gonna grab onto the attachment point on your boat to then be able to pull it up onto the boat trailer.
And this black web strapping is very nice and durable, and on the winch itself it's all zinc coated and gives you a nice rust corrosion prevention; those kind of things. And on the bottom, just as all winches have, you got elongated holes here. That just kind of helps you fit it into the position you need for your application. There's no hardware included as far as mounting it, you should already have hardware that you're gonna be reusing or you can source that locally if you so need. The handle on here is a nice comfort grip handle and it's gonna make it a lot easier to crank as it spins while you're cranking the winch as well.
And then of course, like I showed you, you got the free spool option or lock it in to do the cranking you need to do. And that will wrap up our quick look together, folks. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching. As always, reach out if you have questions about this or any other products we carry, and have a great day.

I give y'all "5 stars", for my purchase of a 600# rating boat trailer winch and trailer 3" bow roller. Not seeing mounting instructions for the trailer winch, I initially installed the mount bolts from the outside, in. After realizing the mount bolts would contact the winch belt, I disassembled the winch assembly to correctly install the mount bolts. My bad. Missed seeing this precaution in the instructions.
Do you have a question about this Trailer Winch?
