Options to Lift 2018 Wildwood Heritage Glen 286RL 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2018 wildwood Heritage Glen 286RL the back of the trailer is 5 foot lower then the front, My hitch can go down one more Inch in height but I only have 6-1/2 inch clearance at the moment. I was thinking of going from 225-75-R15 to a 235-80-R16 this would give me 1 inch but I need about 3 at the wheels.. I cant flip the axel as it is built that way already..

Assuming you have hubs with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern you can change the tire and wheels on your 2018 Wildwood Heritage Glen 286RL from ST225/75R15 to ST235/80R16, the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" Silver Mod Wheel # TA59VR.
The other option that may work is a lift kit, and I only say "may" because it does have some specific measurement requirements, and will lift your trailer up to 2-1/4 inches:
- Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # RR23QX
The # RR23QX will work with double-eye leaf springs, and requires a minimum of 2-5/8 inches from your I-beam to the leaf spring mounting hole on your hanger, and your hangers need to be 3 inches wide x 3-3/4 inches tall hangers or 3 inches wide x 5 inches tall.
