Steel Lug Nut Inserts
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Aluminum Viking Series Vor Trailer Wheel from Taskmaster. The aluminum wheel is durable, it's lightweight, and it's rustproof. The Viking Series Vor design features a nice painted silver, which provides a really nice bold sleek look. The front and the back of the wheel have a glossy clear coating. Also, I wanna point out that the unit features steel inserts in the lugnut wells to help keep the wheels securely in place on the trailer hub. Also, prevents any type of damage to the aluminum construction of the wheel, prevents the holes from wearing down, and eliminates the need for constant retightening of your lugnuts.The center cap is included.
It's a really nice design, offers a really great finished look to the wheel, and it also comes with your valve stem. It meets SAE J1204 standards. Now, this is a 15-inch diameter rim. It has a width of six inches wide. The bolt pattern is six on five and a half inches, uses a wheel bolt size of a half inch by 20.
Capacity on the wheel is 2,830 pounds. The pilot hole diameter, which is the hole at the center of the wheel, that's a diameter of 4.25 inches. Wheels have been in use on my boat trailer for a year now. Only issue was some rust developed on the decorative hub cover. The wheels seem fine and no issues. The trailer has been towed twice from Florida to NY. 1300 miles each way plus local trips. If the trailer was not ever used in salt water I don’t think those covers would have any corrosion on them. Now using it in fresh water which is easier on everything.

The wheels are holding up after 10-15 trips to the river, the center caps are rusting. I always spray the wheels off after every trip with fresh water.

You don't see these wheels on campers too often which I like and they look great. Some people might not like that they're not chrome or actual polished aluminum but it's clearly stated they are painted silver and again they look awesome!! The fact that they come with chrome valve stems and center caps is a huge bonus along with being cheaper than all the other ones! Triple A+ for quality, looks and features

I am really pleased with the new rim and tire combination. To purchase both at such a reasonable price of $xx.xx was a crazy good deal and quality of the rims is particularly great. I do wish the tires were a slightly better grade, but I will not ware these tires out before the age out. I did have damage to the two inserts that probably occurred in the warehouse since they box looked in good shape. Noah, at etrailer had replacement center cans out to me the day I sent a email and you can't ask for more than that.

- Why Is The Taskmaster AX02560655BML Less Expensive Than Other Wheels Of The Same Size?Please keep in mind this is a little speculative as I don't have a solid reason for it, but I think it is due to them not being a very popular model. These still have the Lifetime Warranty against structural defects, a 2,830 pound capacity, and include the valve stem and center cap, so it's not like you are getting a lesser wheel by any means. Especially when you look at the exact same wheel in silver ( # AX02560655FPS), which is more expensive. This could also me due to the cost of materials...
