This Piranha 3/4" round amber LED light delivers clean, bright illumination while drawing only 0.07 amps at 12V. It’s rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation, so there’s no need to worry about replacing bulbs or dealing with burnt filaments. The single amber diode gives a strong, consistent light output while using less power than old-school incandescent lights.
Visibility from multiple angles makes a big difference on the road. This PC-rated light produces a 180-degree beam pattern—90 degrees to either side of centerline—so it can serve as both a clearance and side marker light when properly mounted. That wide spread means it’s easy to spot from the front or side, keeping your trailer visible in low light and helping others see your signals.
Installing this light is quick and straightforward thanks to its recessed-mount design and included grommet that fits a 3/4" hole. The two-wire pigtail setup—one power lead and one ground wire—keeps wiring simple while preventing plug corrosion or connection failures. If you’re replacing an existing light or starting fresh, it fits cleanly for a neat, finished look.
With its durable plastic base and acrylic amber lens, this light is designed to handle years of use without cracking or fading. The hard-wired design resists corrosion, and the solid-state LED build means no fragile parts inside to break loose over time. It runs reliably on 8V–16V DC systems and meets federal requirements for clearance, side marker, and ID lighting.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Piranha LED trailer clearance and side marker light with the rubber grommet and the amber lens. Now, this is a nice small trailer light, which will function as both a clearance and a side marker light when it's properly mounted. This is a Piranha series, which combines a modern design with fiber and LED lighting for a nice unique look. The LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights, though.
They're rated for up to about a hundred thousand hours of operation. The LEDs are more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And of course, no bulbs to replace no brittle filaments to break. This is a nice durable plastic base with an acrylic lens. It is an amber lens over one amber LED, and this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. It has a recessed Mount design.
You can see it comes with the included rubber grommet for installation, and it is a two wire pigtail has the black power lead and the white ground wire. And you can see they use the bullet connectors. Now at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12 volt power. Just to show you how bright the light is.It is a PC rated light, does produce 180 degree beam pattern. And this light is made in the USA.
Few specs on this overall dimensions, the diameter of just the light, it's going to be run at three quarters of an inch. The depth of the light is about 13/16 of an inch. Now power draw on this at 12 volts is about 0.07 amps, and the operating voltage is 8 volts to 16 volts. What we're going to do now is go ahead and hook up our power, hook up our white to the ground. Hook up our black to the power. And then with that on we'll go ahead and turn our light on and you can see there's your bright LED light.
We'll go ahead and turn off our overhead light. And you can see how bright the light is, and you'll also be able to see, we mentioned it's a PC rated light. It means it's produced 180 degree beam pattern. You can sort of see how that gives off the 180 degree pattern.Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on the Piranha LED trailer clearance and side marker light with the grommet and the amber lens.
