An armored, chrome-plated license plate light on an ear-mount base. This light is a metal cylinder that is 1-5/16" in diameter by 2" tall with a small, clear lens window underneath and a base that is 2-1/2" long x 1-13/16" wide. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a polished, chrome-plated finish. The bulb is protected in the housing and can be easily replaced. The base surface mounts on 2" centers. The light contains a single lead wire for power and is grounded through the mounting hardware.

It is surface mounted on two inch centers on the ear mounted base. It has a single wire as it grounds to the hardware or frame of the light. Lets go ahead and supply power to it, and see what it looks like when its lit up.
