Specs:
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this agricultural trailer hub assembly for the 15,000 pound axles. It has an eight on eight inch bolt pattern. Now, this trailer hub assembly is designed to fit on agricultural trailers that have an eight on eight inch bolt pattern, and it is designed for non-brake axles. If you notice on the side right over here is a built-in grease zerk fitting, makes for fast, easy lubricating of your hub assembly. Just attach your grease gun to that, pump grease in there to lubricate the bearings.
Now, this part will include everything laid out here on the table. The hub with the bearing race is pre-installed. The outer bearing, which is part number LM501349, inner bearing part number 387AS, the grease seal, the grease cap. And then if you notice, the studs have the lug nuts on them. They lug nuts are included.
It's eight of the 5/8 inch by 18 size wheel lug nuts. Now, this assembly is designed to work on a TRP spindle of part number SP-758300-160. And this hub assembly does have a 7,500 pound load capacity. So when this is used with the hub on the other side, it'll meet the 15,000 pound axle capacity. Also, the agricultural hubs like this are designed for low speed application.
So the load capacity is based on a 20 mile per hour maximum speed. If you notice the yellow zinc finish that's on the wheel studs, the wheel lug nuts, and even the grease cap. Now the pilot hole diameter, which would be measured from here all the way across to here, so in other words, when your wheel assembly goes on here, the pilot hole size of the wheel that fits on here is gonna be six inches. The bolt pattern we mentioned is eight on eight inches. And if you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel or on an assembly that has a even number of lugs, in this case eight, it's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are right across from each other.
So all you have to do is pick any one, let's say this one, and you'll measure from the center of this one directly across to the center of the other one. So that's an eight inch measurement. So it's eight lugs, eight inch measurement. But that should do it for a look at this agricultural trailer hub assembly for 15,000 pound axes.
