I have a 2014 Subaru Legacy, and I needed well made hitch to accept my Thule T2 Pro XT 2 Bike Hitch Rack with a 1 1/4" receiver. The product arrived in a reasonable time, and it looks like its made very well. Came with all the hardware and good instructions. I would suggest watching the video, which was VERY well done. The use of a die grinder with a tungsten bit, or a step bit, will make it much easier to open up the holes in the frame quickly, took me 35 minutes to install. Great product, order yours today!

Pro tip #1: On Subaru installations calling for cutting out an opening, take the time to remove the bumper, allowing access to the unibody tunnel without hacking a hole into it, to insert the carriage bolts and reinforcement plates.
Pro tip #2: While you have access to the unibody tunnel, now is a great time to apply Fluid Film/Woolwax/B'laster Surface Shield to the interior of the unibody, bumper, and undercarriage, to make your automobile last much longer!

Still perfect after 1 year of the initial installation.
So far have not been able to attach on my own. I determined that it was not safe given the unstable jacks that I have. Will likely get a professional to install.
Quality product. No issues with it a year in. Used mainly for a mountain bike tray mount on my sedan. Does it's job and isn't too low when in some rutty terrain. We have a 1/4" model on our crv as well.

Its been a year and the device is still performing very well. No rusty welds, the paint job has performed well. I live in a cold climate with lots of salt on the roads in the winter, it all looks great so far. Great craftsmanship! get yours today!
