This Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver is built to handle serious towing. Rated for 5,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 500 lbs tongue weight, it’s strong enough for utility trailers, campers, boats, or gear haulers. When used with a weight distribution setup, capacity jumps to 10,000 lbs GTW and 1,000 lbs tongue weight. The fully welded, computer-aided steel construction makes it as solid as they come — no flex, no weak points, just dependable muscle for your towing needs.
A tough e-coat base topped with a black powder coat finish keeps this hitch protected from rust, road grime, and weather. That double layer of finish doesn’t just look good under the bumper — it means you can count on long-term durability even after years of towing or carrying gear in rough conditions.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch in place. It’s a custom-fit, bolt-on design that uses existing mounting points and includes the full hardware kit and instructions in the box. The setup is straightforward — no welding required — making it a solid project for anyone who likes to do their own upgrades in the driveway.
Every hitch goes through extensive fatigue and static testing under real-world conditions. Draw-Tite’s Tested Tough program goes beyond basic industry requirements so you can tow with confidence. It’s backed by a limited lifetime warranty and designed to exceed standard safety and reliability criteria for long-term performance.

Been used quite a bit this past year! I use it to pull a loaded two horse trailer. Absolutely no problems! I would definitely recommend!!
