I am looking for a hitch for a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 slt with an 8foot bed. The website says this model only fits a 6foot model

We have one hitch solution for your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 but it will require your truck to not have a factory hitch on it. For that you would want the part # 75135.

The Curt hitch part # C14020 that you referenced does not fit the long bed truck models.
