Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

This hitch has worked great for the last year. It's used exclusively to carry my bikes on a rack. Installation took about 2.5 hours, but it was a first for me. The toughest part was dropping the exhaust system and getting it back in place. Make sure you have the recommended steel drill bits. They make the installation a breeze.
This was an easy install and works exactly as expected. They included some wire installing tools that made the fishing of the bolts into the frame easy.

Incredible. No issues. Still in mint condition. No rust. Low profile look makes it not noticeable. Which is what you want when you have a hitch on a car.
