Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
Use this durable, ratcheting strap to help secure your cargo. Each end of the logistics strap has a vinyl-coated steel hook that can be attached to a tie-down anchor or hooked onto a ledge.
The ratchet cinches the strap down tightly around your load and locks the strap in place. The hardware is zinc plated to resist corrosion. A hook-and-loop tie (similar to Velcro) helps to secure any extra strap length so that the excess strap doesn't flap in the wind as you travel down the road.

Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to take a really quick look at the Snap-Loc Tie-Down Ratchet Strap. This is a really nice way to tie down any kind of gear that you might have in your enclosed trailer, open trailer, truck bed, or anywhere else, maybe on your roof rack, ladder rack, all kinds of places. So the thing that I like about Snap-Loc's straps in general is that they work pretty well. They also have a little strap keeper, so anytime you're tying stuff off, you're always going to have some excess strap, and then what do you do with it Do you tie it off Do you just let it flap in the wind It can get kind of annoying either way and you never really have a good clean solution for that, so this actually has a sewn-on little strap keeper. It's just a hook-and-loop piece, wraps all the way around. It gives you pretty good length, so no matter how you want to wrap it up, you should be able to get that around there. And it just kind of cleans up the install.
You don't have that flapping sound going on down the road or it frays out your strap over time, so I think that's a really smart little detail that they've added into this. And as far as the ratcheting, it's pretty standard. Works pretty well. Of course, it's going to get out all that tension . or create a nice tension on your load so you'll have everything nice and tight. As you can see there, works pretty easily to open up and take out the slack.
You just pull in on this little handle, open that up, and you can pull out on the excess to get that loosened up again. And so again, bring that over and then you can ratchet it down. And then once you're done tightening, you can just cinch it off.As far as that strap keeper, as I mentioned, I'll back up a little bit here so you can see that a little bit better. You can take all this excess, roll it up, fold it up however you want to do that. There's also a little loop on this end so that makes it kind of easy to tie that off.
And we'll just wrap all that up end over end. Now, this does have the two steel S-hooks at either end to go on our attachment points. They are vinyl coated so that should make those long lasting, resistant to any kind of rust or corrosion. Also helps to keep them from scratching your stuff, so especially if you are going to be using this on a roof rack or something like that where you want to make sure that everything is going to stay really protected, that's kind of nice to have that there. So I'm just going to stash this over like so, and then voila. You've got your cinched-off excess.
Again, S-hooks make it pretty easy there. As far as the overall length, it measures 8' long. The strap is 1" in width. It has a safe working load limit of 833 pounds, so that means the maximum load of the break strength is 2,500 pounds. Of course, you do want to go off of that safe working load limit. That's what it's rated to safely work at.It's also a good idea to always get straps in pairs. You just want to make sure that you have two angles holding down your gear. If you really just trust to one strap, there's a chance that things could shift on either side, so having a second strap there just makes it more secure. And then your safe working load limit is going to be the combined limit of both straps, so if you we're to get two of these, that would be about 1,600 pounds. So, something to keep in mind there. But that's pretty much all we have to talk about with this strap. I hope that this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you. We do have a lot of other straps available here at etrailer.com, along with a whole lot of other kinds of gear and a whole lot of content to go with it, so check it out. Thanks for watching.

Sturdy tie-down with vinyl-coated steel S-hooks secures cargo in your truck or trailer. Ratchet makes it easy to tighten strap down over your payload, and strap wrapper helps prevent any unused webbing from flapping in the wind. 2,500 lbs Max load.Worked as designed. Still good today..
Use these to secure loads to a hitch-mounted cargo basket. They do the job well. Also have a 2 inch pair of SnapLocs w/o hooks to tie stuff to my roof rails. I am a big fan of SnapLoc. Straps perform well and little things like sewing in a Velcro strip to secure excess strap set SnapLocs apart.
made in the Untied States Of America not to many can say that on the tag
Still working great a year later
Good product for quads
looks well built, good strap
