Package was received with some damage but the hitch was not damaged. Installation went great once I cleaned out the weld nuts from 15 years of Minnesota dirt and salt. End result looks and works great.

The hitch is working great. I pull a small enclosed trailer and I have had no problems. Great hitch and a great price.

And also, your products are very excellent and reasonably priced. The best part is you have all sorts of product available and the ordering process is simple.

2017 Chevrolet Equinox

I installed this Curt Trailer Hitch on my 2017 Equinox today .. I did the work by myself , so I used a floor jack to raise the hitch into place .. Fit was perfect , working off the driveway took me about 45 minutes to complete ..

It was the right fit and the only issue we had was the bolts were the wrong size. 1/2 was sent but we actually needed 7/16. The 1/2 even after cleaning the openings wouldn't catch because they were just too large. But the grade 8 size 7/16 we bought at the hardware store were perfect. The hitch installation easy when we had the right bolts and the fish wire sent for the bolts in the frame was a God send. Thank you so much!.

2004 Saturn Vue

The hitch arrived in good shape and on time. My 2004 Vue had very rusted frame nuts, so preparing them took patience and Rust blaster. I bought a tap as recommended for the do it yourselfer, but I made a superior thread cleaner from the included M12 bolt. I first threaded a nut all the way on the shank, then cut a vertical slot 1/2 inch long in the threaded end. I ground the slot end at a slight angle to help it grab.I then backed the nut all of the way off to smooth the cut threads. Because of the close quarters on the frame, the hex headed tool allowed me to use my 19mm ratcheting box wrench to clean the threads. The fishwire worked great! All in all a doable project- clear instructions, correct hardware, and good fit!

2013 Chevrolet Equinox

I really like this hitch. It was easy to install and has a nice finish. The instructions with my hitch as well as the etrailer video didn't indicate that my 2012 equinox may not have the two center weld nuts sense it didn't already have a factory hitch installed. I was a little confused at first but called etrailer and had an answer in minutes. Be sure to watch the video for the 2013 equinox if your 2012 doesn't have the center weld nuts. Etrailer has great customer service! I ordered it on a Monday night and had it by Thursday. What more can you ask for? I also used the Curt wiring harness and I modified a Curt rubber tube cover to hold the harness. This gave everything a very clean, finished look.

Straightforward installation. Price was very good. Great support by etrailer to provide vehicle-specific install video and the handy tool to pass the bolt through the frame. This is the third hitch that I've purchased through etrailer.com and all have been very good.

This the second time I buy a Hitch on my vehicles from etrailer. On both cases they have been great for my needs, mounting a bike rack. What I have liked is that the mounting video is very helpful since I installed them by myself, at the same time it gives me confidence to be sure is the one for my vehicle model. I installed it with no problem and have mounted my rack many times.

First time ordering from Etrailer. I had never heard of the company so I asked my daughters boyfriend, who is a mechanic. He said excellent company and he uses them for his customers. This trailer hitch fit perfectly in my 2016 Equinox LT. It took 45 minutes for me to install it cause I used my daughters boyfriends lift. I tried lying on the ground on my back and lifting it in place but it was too heavy. If you go that route have someone help. I even trimmed the plastic pop out cover to finish off the installation. Great product. Great company. Great price. Fast free shipping. Thank you.

Product fitment and ease of installation was perfect. The reciever hitch showed up in excellent condition and took me about 20 minutes to install. The instructions and videos on etrailer.com provided all the info I needed to install this product. Definitely heed thier advice about cleaning out the factory weld nuts. That was the only issue I had but it was quickly resolved with a nylon 3/4 inch bottle brush.

- 13591
by:

Definitely satisfied with the quality, finish and price. Relatively easy to install kind of bulky if doing it alone. Worst part was found out I had to chase every threaded hole with a tap in the vehicle's chassis where the bolts attach the hitch to because of dirt and debris. Great hitch overall.

Saturn Vue

I needed the trailer hitch for my bike rack. After I finished the installation I put the bike rack in the hitch and it work perfectly. First, I would like to thank Rebecca N for her response to my question, which was "My car didn't have weld bolt for the top two center bolts, what can I do?". Rebecca N suggested that I use the same method to place the two center bolts as the Saturn Vue. I watched the installation video for the Vue, followed the instructions and it worked great. I received the hitch late yesterday. Per the Vue video, I had to fish the top two bolts and spacers through the end of the bumper support so I did that last night. One of the spacers turned which caused it to hang up inside of the bumper support. I took a clothes hanger and bent it to made a 1 inch flat tip then pushed on the spacer until it worked free. The spacer and bolt moved right in place. This morning I finished the installation and there was no one to assist. I used a vehicle jack on a rolling platform to manuver the hitch into place then jacked it up to allow me to put the nut on the top carriage bolts, then I fastened the bolts on the driver's side into the weld nuts attached to the vehicle. There was a slight bind on the passenger's side so I pulled the jack over and jacked up the hitch and with just a little effort the hitch popped in place.

Easy DIY install. We’ve been very happy with this product! It’s been convenient to now have 2 vehicles to install our bike rack on as opposed to only one.

Shipped quickly, some of the parts didn't quite fit but I have a feeling that was due to the model/make perhaps? However, it was just bolt size difference, easily taken care of. Hitch has worked perfectly and if I ever needed to order any other parts or equipment will be coming back to etrailer.com

Saturn Vue Redline hitch install Sometime last month you were helping me with info for my 2006 Saturn Vue Redline Edition. I ordered last week, got the part in a day and a half later (way fast). Just got to install it today. It actually doesn't require cutting however I'm probably going to do it anyway. In the pictures attached you can see that the part installs just fine without cutting the bumper fascia as recommended by your tech's, but it does rest on top of the hitch and I dont like that so I'm going to do minor cutting. Anyway, here are a few pictures that you may use on your site. I am greatful for the service you provided otherwise I wouldn't have gone out of my way to take photo's, upload them, and write this email.
