GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this GSP Custom-Fit, Heavy-Duty CV Rear Axle Assembly. Now this is going to let you upgrade your vehicle's rear left or right OEM setup on the following vehicles that you see there. This is fitted for the 2008 to 2014 Polaris Sportsman 400. And then, the 2003 to 2018 Sportsman 500, the 2013 to 2014 Sportsman 570. Then the 2003 to 2012 Sportsman 600 and 700.
And then, finally, the 2003 to 2015 Sportsman 800. On custom fit parts, such as this axle, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Also, this is not intended for use on lifted vehicles. One other piece of information I wanted to give you is what this is the direct replacement for, so all that information there is listed there on your screen for you.
You can also refer back to this information on this product page. Now the hardened-steel alloy shaft is built to resist wear. The material is 40 CrXC. The oversized CV joints are gonna let you climb rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. And the flexible and tough TPEE boots are going to resist tearing and cracking.
They're gonna hold up really well for you. And you're gonna receive it just as you see it here, this is going to be preassembled for simple installation. This is already packed with high-performance moly grease to help reduce friction. As you can see here, the axle nut is included with this. And so just to give you some other pieces of information that might prove helpful for you, the axle assembly length extended is 23.86 inches, compressed, it's 22.2 inches.
The inboard joint type is ball, and the spline quantity is 36. The outboard joint type, again, is ball, and the spline quantity is 26.
