This hitch is built for real-world utility. With a 4,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 675-lb tongue weight, it’s ready for everyday towing setups—like a small camper, boat, or loaded cargo rack. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with the most common bike racks, ball mounts, and cargo carriers, so you can swap between gear without adapters. It’s rated for use with or without weight distribution (4,500 lbs WD / 675 lbs WDTW), giving you flexibility for different hauling setups.
This hitch is designed for a simple driveway install. It bolts directly onto the frame using included hardware—no welding required. The precision, robotic welds ensure the hitch lines up cleanly with existing mounting points for a solid fit. You don’t have to cut into the fascia or modify the bodywork to make it work, making it an ideal weekend project even if you don’t have a lift.
You get a clean, factory-style look thanks to the concealed main body that hides behind the bumper—only the receiver tube shows. The gloss black powder coat finish sits over a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating inside and out, keeping it protected from road grime and corrosion. The open-back receiver also makes it easy to keep clean after muddy rides or winter roads.
Every detail is engineered for strength and longevity. The square-tube steel construction is fully welded and tested in accordance with SAE J684 standards for towing safety. This hitch isn’t just strong—it’s made to stay that way through years of loading up bikes, trailers, or cargo baskets. And it comes backed by a limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts).

The hitch is solid, I did the install by myself and it took me about 1.5 hrs without a lift or any fancy tools to install it.That also included removing the rear trim for the bumper to access the hitch better and reinstall. Directions were pretty straight forward as a DIY person with mechanical experience. We have used it numerous times and its a really good hitch and well priced and well built. The only thing I didnt realize when I installed it is how low it sits compared to the OEM for $700. We have draw bars that bring the trailer up to level so not an issue, and it doesnt drag on the ground when leaving a sloped driveway like our old mini van did.

This hitch does call for the access hole to be enlarged to allow for the hardware to pass through. I recommend taking a look at the video install that we have on a 2023 Chevy Equinox.
