Correct Trailer Hitch for 2022 Chevrolet Equinox RS AWD

Question:
I have a 2022 Chevy Equinox RS AWD and am looking for the correct hitch so I can add a bike rack to my car. I did a search on your site but none of the cars in the pics look like the back of my car. HELP! Which hitch should I ?

Hey Lynn! A hitch like the Curt # C77FR you were looking at will fit your 2022 Chevy Equinox RS AWD. The vehicles in most of the pictures have different trim packages which is why they don't look the same. You can actually see the Curt hitch on an RS in the picture below. The trim level doesn't restrict fitment of the hitch so it works regardless of the model.
What kind of bike rack do you have?

Worked great for me. Bolted up to the car and I also used it to attach a bike rack. Just make sure the receptacle of the hitch is the same size as the tongue of the bike rack.

I have a 2018 equinox I followed the instructions and it it was correct. I had to drop the exhaust system to install the hitch. It was a lot of work. I do all over again or would've paid somebody but it did fit.

I bought one for my new 2012 gmc terrain. Easy install and loved it. I then got one for my 2020 Toyota Rav4 easy install and loved it. The one i bought for my new 2024 terrain I never installed. Just lazy and not a priority. Thinking of getting a Lincoln Overall cant go wrong. Hope this helps

This is what you need for the equinox. It's very well made and includes everything needed for installation. It definitely helps to have a 2nd set of hands if doing it yourself but very manageable for 2 people.

I have this hitch on my 2024 Equinox LT AWD and it works like a charm. eTrailer did a great job installing it and I couldn't be happier. It comes out right under the bumper. I recommend letting them install & mount the plug-in for the trailer lights too. Don't forget that.
