Recommended Hitch and Wiring for Towing With 2024 Chevrolet Equinox

I'm looking for a hitch for a 2024 Equinox. Do you have one available? I will be using this for towing. Is there anything else I will need?

We do have a hitch for your 2024 Chevy Equinox. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C77FR. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It features a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

In addition to a hitch you will also need wiring. The Curt # C94FR will plug into the connection points behind your rear bumper. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount like the # e67DR.

Robin, I haveing trouble getting the correct part for my 2024 Chevy Equniox RS. I was given by a Curt Tech that I needed to order a C94FR. I was sent part number 56429. The service repair tech told me that the 56429 was made for the years 2018-2020. After several emails with them I asked for a RMA 1436-121033-492-A, Orginal order etrailer 121033492. I am confused. What is the correct wiring for my car??

@RichardS # C94FR is our part number. The 56429 is the Curt part number and the same thing as the C94FR. This is confirmed by Curt to fit all models of the 2024 Equinox so it is the right wiring harness for your vehicle.

@RobinH , note you response to Shaun. You recommend the C94FR . Also note the RS model required the two extra connectors provided with the C94FR. The 56429 doesn't have to two extra connectors. This will only fit the LT models. I cannot find my first email to you,but you recommend the C94FR.

@Richard the two extra connectors you're referring to are relays which are used on all models. Here is the 56429 with the same picture as ours with the relays on the Curt site https://www.curtmfg.com/part/56429. Scroll down on the page and you will see under compatible vehicles that it shows the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox with "All" under style. Scroll down on our C94FR page under installation and you will see 56429 CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector below the "Installation" section. It is possible Curt had some kind of update to the wiring harness years ago and an old one without relays was laying around in inventory on accident. I wouldn't know without trying to ask Curt and right now they aren't open. I'll assume what you're returning is missing the relays, but you will still need the # C94FR which will have Curt 56429 on the package. The only other option would be to switch to the Tekonsha # TK67KR (Tekonsha part number 118853). If you call customer service and ask them for the Curt ask if they can make sure the # C94FR (56429) includes the relays.
