This hitch is ready for real work. With a maximum gross trailer weight of 7,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 750 lbs, it’s built to handle light to moderate towing—everything from small campers to utility trailers. When used with weight distribution, it bumps up to 8,000 lbs GTW and 800 lbs TW, so you can keep your setup level and stable. The 2" x 2" receiver opening is the standard size most accessories use, so ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers fit right in.
No welding or drilling needed here. This hitch bolts right onto the frame using existing factory hardware, so you can install it in your driveway with basic tools. The precision, robotic welding ensures the mounting points line up the way they should—no wrestling to make things fit. Installation instructions are included, and once it’s on, you’re ready to start towing or mounting accessories.
The sturdy square-tube design and fully welded steel construction give this hitch serious strength. It’s coated in a gloss black powder finish layered over a protective base coat for superior rust resistance, so it’ll keep looking good even after years of road grime and weather exposure. It’s a solid, dependable hitch that holds up whether you’re towing trailers or carrying extra gear on a rear-mounted rack.
This concealed cross tube design keeps most of the hitch tucked away, giving you a cleaner look behind the bumper without sticking out awkwardly. It’s subtle but strong—built for people who want reliable towing power without changing how their vehicle looks from the back.

Draw Tite and Curt may have different specifications with their different hardware but the Curt hardware on this Curt hitch is to be torqued down to 196ft-lbs.
