Its a trailer hitch, so we used it to hitch a trailer to the car. We have only used it twice so far, but by the second time it had paid for itself. Because we have the hitch we did not have to rent a truck to help my daughter change apartments.

After a year the hitch is still working and looking great, since then we have also used it to tow a small camping trailer a couple thousand miles.
