Question:
I am looking for a friend who has a Curt hitch for a 2013 Ford Escape. He bought it awhile ago and he never got the mounting hardware for it. Now, I do not know if it is the class II or the class iii but is there any difference between the two hardware kits if we are unable to figure out which one at least for the moment

Expert Reply:
The hardware kits for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" item # C12111 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" item # C13186 are the same. For either Curt hitch receiver you will need the Replacement Hardware Kit for Trailer Hitches item # RHK. You will need to type your hitch item number in and select the manufacturer. This will give you a complete hardware kit to replace yours.
