The fish wire tool helps you install a trailer hitch receiver, fifth-wheel rails, gooseneck hitch, or other items.Perfect fit. However room to put rail bolts to brackets is very tight. The bolts have to be tighten with a wrench. No room for socket set. I use a wrench with a bar extension to tighten the bolts.
Gaetan - 07/02/2015The 5/8 bolt fishwires that we used to install my draw tite front hitch on my 2012 F150 worked great. Couldn't have done it without them. Upon looking under my truck, I noticed that in order to service or remove rack and pinion steering if needed, I don't think the bolts attaching the steering unit will clear the front hitch, so the hitch may need to be removed sometime. So I ordered a couple of extra sets of fish wires to reinstall the hitch if need be, because fish wires are only usable one time.
Installation time was less than half what it would have taken to install without these great fish wires. Excellent product and customer service. Thanks etrailer

The Fish Wire Bolt Leader made putting my trailer hitch on much simpler than it would have been without it. I highly recommend this product. I sent back and bought other sizes in case I need them for similar jobs. This is too handy of a tool not to have.
Very snug fit. Difficult installation for my truck. Needed to order extra fish wire after I pulled too hard to get a bolt in. For $2 each they should include a couple extra fish wires and save the extra week I had to wait to finish the install. My advice; order extras when you order the hitch
