This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver adds solid utility for light-duty towing. With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and a 350-lb maximum tongue weight, it’s ready for small utility trailers, boats, or extra cargo loads. The Class II rating and 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening give you the strength and stability needed for everyday hauling without overbuilding or adding bulk.
You don’t need a lift or weld shop to get this hitch installed. It uses a bolt-on design that lines up to existing points on the vehicle, and the complete hardware kit comes in the box. The fully welded construction keeps everything square and secure once tightened down, so home installers can get it done with standard hand tools and patience in the driveway.
The sturdy square-tube body is made from steel with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat. That layered finish resists rust and chips, keeping the hitch looking good and ready for years of use. Robotic welding ensures consistent strength at every joint, so the receiver stays true even after thousands of miles of towing or carrying bike racks and cargo trays.
