Use the wood beam socket to add standard lumber to an E Track anchoring system. Simply attach a piece of 2" lumber to a couple sockets and then clip the sockets into your E Track or Snap-Loc anchors. You can create adjustable and removable shelves, beds, and dividers in your truck, trailer, or toy hauler.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking together at our E-track wood beam socket for a standard two-inch lumber, or a two by four. Now you're gonna get one, quantity one, of these. This is gonna make your adjustability and versatility of shelving easy, because you're gonna create a removable and adjustable shelf bed divider, whatever you want, by using your standard two-inch lumber or what we call a two by four, basically that 1 11/16 inside width here. That board will fit in there and provide a secure holding place for the boards.
You could then put screws, bolts, whatever you want through the sides and even the bottom of that board to make sure it's very safe and reliable as well. This is a durable zinc-coated steel, so you're not gonna worry about rust, corrosion, anything like that. It's great for organizing cargo, again, building maybe a bunk or just custom trailer setups and those kind of things, and it's gonna create support for those wood beams and those structures. And again, it's standard E-track. And as you know, it's spring loaded here to then get it back out of the E-track when it's time to remove it.

Everything has worked out perfectly. A beam solution using these e-Track beam brackets designed for wood 2x4s weighs more than an aluminum beam, but it cost less than 110th the price! I built 6 beams, so I saved $500 ! It is worth doing this solution!

The project worked out very well for about six months. But since then Imhave remodeled my van and built a bunk with storage. I saved the etrack wood beam sockets just in case I come up with another idea for them. They worked great and I’m happy that I kept them.
