Mounting E-Track Wood Beam Socket # 59149 Upside-Down

Question:

can item 59149 be mounted upside down and is there much slop side to side when mounted. I am also curious on vertical e track the distance between pockets. For shelving how much adjust ability is there looks like moving from one hole to the next would move about 4 inches?

The E-Track Wood Beam Socket you mention, part # 59149 can be mounted in any orientation you wish.As you can see in the photo I provided, the slots in the E-Track measure 2 inches apart on center. Moving from one slot to the next would provide 2 inches of adjustment. There is a small amount of side-to-side movement once the beam socket is connected to the E-Track.
