Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Dexter 12 and a quarter inch duo server hydraulic drum brake kit assembly with parking brake levers. Now this brake assembly is engineered for trailers with 9,000 to 10,000 pound axles. This is going to fit most standard hub and drum assemblies, including Dexter and Lippert, and the wheel size compatibility is going to be 15 inches or larger. So this does feature a duo server servo design rather, which means that it has a dual plunger design that's going to give you consistent braking, braking force in both the forward and reverse directions.
And the self-adjusting mechanism here is going to automatically maintain proper brake shoe alignment. That's gonna reduce the need for manual adjustments. You can see by the cable here that goes around the pulley, the pulley's behind the braking lever. So it's probably hard for you to see, but that cable is going to go around the pulley and then connect to the lever down here. That's gonna automatically adjust the adjustment gear.
So self-adjusting brakes will automatically adjust to deliver optimum performance and braking power. So there's no need for manual brake adjustments and the proper adjustment's going to obviously lead to better brake efficiency and less wear on your tow vehicle brakes. This also, these also do have the integrated parking levers that are gonna allow you to manually engage the brake for extra security. Whether your trailer is packed with gear or sitting in storage, that feature is going to ensure that it stays put exactly where you left it, giving you peace of mind when parked. So you're gonna get the left hand and the right hand here as you can see, so left and right and the dimensions, the diameter, as I mentioned, 12 and a quarter inches.
The width three and three eight inches wide. And this is a seven bolt mounting flange bolt pattern. These are really constructed well, durable construction built to withstand rigorous use. So you're gonna, that's going to ensure long lasting performance and durability.
