Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the MAXTRAX 24 millimeter wide by five meter long kinetic recovery rope. It has an 8,818 pound vehicle recovery capacity. Now, this is a high strength HMPE rope, that stands for high modulus polyethylene. It uses kinetic energy buildup to recover a stuck vehicle. So this is perfect for use with cars, trucks, jeeps, and buggies, weighing up to 8,818 pound gross vehicle weight.

This kinetic recovery rope utilizes kinetic energy accumulated in the rope as it stretches to increase the pulling force and reduce the sudden impact generated by conventional tow straps or change. The stretch rate on this rope is 30%. Now every inch the rope stretches, it results in kinetic energy, which will transfer into a force directed towards that stuck vehicle or object that you're pulling out. Allows for a nice, smooth, unjarring extraction. The rope is very quick and easy to set up for recovery.

You can see on each end, it has these built-in loops that'll let you attach to the anchor points on your vehicle using either bow shackles or soft shackles. And you can use multiple ropes strung together with soft shackles to create a length that you need. On the ends, they use a polyethylene and polyester coating to protect the attachment points from any scratches. And if you notice also on each loop end, it has the bright orange color, which is for high visibility. Does include this hook and loop strap attached and what that's far is when you're not using the rope, you can just bring this around and it's a hook and loop and it'll hold it all together as one big bundle.

A few specs on this rope. The diameter is 24 millimeters, which translate to 15/16 of an inch. The length on this rope is five meters, which will translate to 16 feet four inches long. Now, the maximum load or brake strength on this rope is 26,455 pounds, and your vehicle recovery capacity is a third of that, which is the 8,818 pounds.
