Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this InfiniteRule Redeemer Heavy Duty Off-Road D-ring Shackle with locking pin. Now this shackle has a towing capacity of 9,500 pounds and this is going to mount to the front or rear bumper. So you can unstick your vehicles from difficult terrain and the threaded pin is going to sit flush, reducing the chance of snagging the shackle on obstacles. So let me go ahead and remove this pin.
And as I mentioned, this does include a locking pin that's going to replace the standard pin. So I'm just gonna go ahead and remove this. It's a very smooth operation and it does come with these two rubber washers. So to unlock this pin, you're gonna get two keys. I'm going to insert one of the keys here, and then you're just going to turn the key counterclockwise, like you're loosening a screw.
So you're just gonna keep turning that until this lock becomes detached, like so. And as you can see, we do have an O-ring in there to protect the internal components from corrosion, debris, water, things like that. So I'm gonna go ahead and then replace this with the, replace the standard pin with this. And you're going to insert this part into the non-threaded section. So I'm just gonna slide this through, replace the washers here, like that, and then just connect them.
And now I am going to turn the key clockwise, like I'm tightening up the screw. And that's going to bring these two ends together. So you can see that getting tighter. And then that's going to lock that pin and then to remove the key, you're just going to back it off to the nearest hash marks. I don't know if you can see that around the ring.
Then that's going to allow you to remove the key, just like that. So the locking pin is going to secure this shackle, so you're not gonna have to take it off between adventures. It's stainless steel, so it's durable, it's going to resist corrosion. And so it's gonna be very easy to mount this with the locking pin. And as you can see, it's continues to sit flush. So this is going to let you pull from different directions or change directions when you need to avoid trees or obstacles. The rounded body is gonna give you a wide load-bearing surface. This is made here in the USA of heavy duty anodized aluminum, 6061T6 aluminum to be exact. And this is relatively lightweight, but it's very durable. It's going to resist deformity and it's not going to rust or become corroded or anything like that. So I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. Now let me line this up here and bring out my ruler and just give you some overall measurements so you have a good idea of the size. So looking at the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to five inches tall in this orientation. The overall width at the widest point, I'm gonna say right at about three and three quarters inches wide. And then the overall thickness, overall pretty close to one and three quarters inches thick. That inside width is gonna be about one and three quarters inches. And the pin is, it's a double shear pin. The diameter is seven eights inches, and it's stainless steel, 303 stainless steel. So what you have here is a setup that's going to do a great job of resisting rust, resisting corrosion. It's gonna hold up really well for you. It's made of premium materials and the bonus is you do have that locking pin. It's gonna be very easy to use with those two keys. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
I will probably never find out if they're a good product or a strong product I purchased a Toyota TrailHunter i just know they're a good looking product and well built
