If you like a clean, factory look when not towing, this setup nails it. The tabless design means no crossbar or protruding brackets up front, and the tabs stay on your tow bar instead of the vehicle. When you’re not hooked up, snap the high-density polyethylene covers over the receivers to keep dirt and debris out so everything stays smooth and corrosion-free for the next trip.
Getting ready to tow is simple. Each tow bar arm slides into the base plate receiver, twists to lock, and secures with the included pull pin for extra peace of mind. When you’re done towing, pull the pin, twist, and slide the arm out—no tools or wrestling required. The bracket spacing is 34-3/8" center to center with an 18" bracket height, so you can match your tow bar setup with confidence.
This base plate bolts directly to the vehicle’s chassis for a solid connection without welding. The steel construction is designed to spread towing forces evenly, helping to minimize weight on the suspension and keep everything steady mile after mile. It’s a sturdy setup meant for long hauls and heavy use on the road.
Already have a tow bar you trust? This kit works straight out of the box with Demco, etrailer, Blue Ox, Curt Rambler, and Demco Kwik-Tow tow bars—no adapter needed. If you’re using a Roadmaster model, just add the correct Demco adapter (DM9523036, DM9523062, DM9523014, or DM9523023 depending on your model). An included electrical bracket also gives you an easy way to mount your round connector plug for a neat wiring setup.
For anyone who likes doing their own upgrades, this bolt-on kit keeps things straightforward. It comes with clear instructions and all necessary hardware so you can secure it directly to your chassis—no welding required. The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

I installed this base plate on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler a year ago. We just came off our second trip in that year and we have driven over 13,000 miles. This base plate is a beast and has performed fantastically with no problems or errors. Typical hook up time for my Jeep from start to finish is less than 5 minutes and this includes installing my RVI Break 3 system. I can not stress any harder that this base plate is, in my opinion, the best you can buy.
