When winter locks in and traction disappears, these chains mean business. Each cross chain is armed with V-bar studs that dig into ice and packed snow to keep your tires gripping instead of spinning. The ladder-style pattern keeps you moving forward in deep snow, mud, and on frozen roads where regular chains just slide. If you’ve ever faced an icy incline or drifted on a slick trail, this setup breaks through and holds steady.

These are heavy-duty chains designed for serious work and tough conditions. The 5.5 mm (0.218") links are made from nickel manganese alloy steel that resists corrosion and stands up to repeated use in snow, ice, or mud. Whether you’re plowing your property all winter or tackling off-road trails to reach a remote cabin, the hardened steel construction handles the abuse season after season.
Rough terrain can rattle loose cams or tensioners, but you won’t fight that here. These chains skip the cams and use basic hook connections that won’t come undone when you’re reversing or driving over uneven ground. Rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) can be added for a snug fit, but the straightforward design keeps things secure and reliable no matter how rough the surface gets.

Built for flexibility across a wide range of tire sizes, this set of two chains is ready for work trucks, trail rigs, or emergency gear that sees real winter duty. When snow piles high or ice sets in hard, this pair gives you the traction to climb, pull, and haul through it all—whether it’s a steep driveway or a snowed-over back road.

Chains are still going strong, I make sure the wash and dry them after each season. Would definitely buy again and I definitely recommend the metal spring tensioners.
