Features to know about

Climbing Steep, Snowy Roads with Confidence: Square Links Deliver Firm Bite

When traction is everything, these alloy square-link chains make the difference. Their shape digs in deep for excellent grip and stopping power on ice, while giving you solid traction in snow or mud. The ladder pattern helps the tires grab evenly across the surface, so starts and stops stay steady even on slick grades.

Quick Tightening in Harsh Weather: Built-In Cams Secure the Fit

No need to wrestle with loose chains in the cold. The built-in cam tighteners let you twist each cam with the included wrench, pulling the chains snug around your tires. That means less time adjusting in the snow and more time driving with confidence. For an even tighter hold, you can add rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately).

Long-Lasting Strength for Heavy Winter Use: Manganese Nickel Alloy Construction

These chains are built to take serious punishment. The manganese nickel alloy steel stands up to freezing temperatures and rough surfaces, keeping its shape and bite through season after season. A zinc finish adds corrosion resistance, so you can count on them to stay strong even after exposure to salt, slush, and grime.

Dependable for Dual Tires: Balanced Grip Across Both Wheels

Specifically built for dual-tire setups, these chains drape evenly over both tires with a center chain that stays in place between them. The result is balanced traction that keeps both tires pulling together on snow-packed roads. With a maximum speed rating of 30 mph and a link thickness of 0.218" (5.5 mm), they’re ready for demanding winter driving when conditions get tough.

Easy Storage Between Seasons: Tote Bag Included

When the snow melts, these chains pack away neatly. The included tote bag makes it simple to store and carry them, keeping the set organized and ready for the next storm.

Confirming Your Fit

If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer.

We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.

You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. These chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.

  • Do Dually Tire Chains Need to be Used for Class C RV with Dual Rear Wheels
Since your 2020 Jayco Melbourne Motorhome is a dually you'll want tire chains that are designed for that type of tire setup. I recommend checking out the Titan Chain Alloy Tire Chains w/ Cams for Dual Tires # TC4219SCAM because this set uses square links that will provide better traction than the twist link and v-bar alternatives. Attached is a review video for you to check out.

  • Tire Chain Recommendation for 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500
We have the Titan tire chains part # TC4219CAM which are a fit for the tire size you have on your Sprinter of 215/85-16 and would work great. These are a twist link style of chain which means it would be a little smoother and these are a dually design so they will cover both tires on either side of the vehicle. If breaking up ice was the priority over ride you would instead want the V-bar part # TC4819CAM, or if deep snow the square link # TC4219SCAM.
