When you’re towing serious weight, you want a wheel that’s designed for real-world strength. This Lionshead 15" x 6" steel modular wheel is rated at 2,860 lbs, giving you solid support for heavier duty setups. The sturdy steel construction keeps your trailer tracking true through miles of hauling and repeated use.
Nothing ruins a trip faster than loose hardware. The beveled stud holes on this wheel seat it tight against the hub, helping maintain clamp force so you spend less time checking torque after every run. It’s a small design detail that pays off in long-term reliability and peace of mind on the road.
Matching and swapping wheels shouldn’t be complicated. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern is one of the most common for heavier trailer setups, so finding compatible hubs and spares stays easy. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20 with a 4.29" pilot diameter—clear specs that make installation straightforward.
Road grime and moisture can wear down a lesser wheel fast, but this modular steel design has a white powder coat finish that resists corrosion and keeps its clean look season after season. The modular cutouts add a simple, practical style while keeping the surface protected against everyday wear.
Steel gives this wheel its dependable strength and steady ride through changing road conditions. The modular style isn’t just about looks—it offers a balanced structure that handles work trips and weekend hauls with equal ease, giving you a solid foundation every time you tow.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"
