This assembly is made to carry serious weight day after day. The Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 radial tire has an 8-ply rating and supports up to 2,540 lbs at 65 psi, while the steel wheel itself is rated for 2,860 lbs. Together they meet DOT specifications, so you can count on dependable hauling capacity for long trips or heavy-duty work.
When the miles stretch out on the highway, this tire keeps its cool. The M speed rating (81 mph) and radial construction reduce rolling resistance and heat buildup for smoother tracking and longer tread life. Double steel belts and full nylon plies give it the stability and durability needed to stay steady at high speeds.
Moisture and salt spray don’t stand a chance. The 15" x 6" steel wheel wears a pebbled black modular design coated with zinc, e-coat, and powder coat layers. That triple protection system locks out oxidation and keeps the finish looking sharp even in tough environments.
No need to schedule a shop visit—this setup comes mounted and inflated so you can install it right away. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, 0 offset, and 4.27" pilot diameter make for straightforward fitment, getting you back on the road faster with a balanced, reliable ride.
Kenda backs this tire with a 1-year worry-free replacement guarantee—if it’s damaged within the first year, it’s replaced at no charge. Add in a 5-year tire warranty and a limited 2-year wheel warranty, and you’ve got solid coverage built into every mile.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello again, neighbor. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Kenda Karrier 225/75 15 Radial Tire. Now this tire is gonna have a black steel wheel or rim and it's got what they call a modular design. So you can see all these little circles and stuff all the way around that. That's considered a modular design.
So when you see that, that's what you're looking at. Now this does have a lot of good features to it as far as like how the rubber is combined. You get basically the strength of a biased tire with the durability and the stability of like a radio tire. So it is specifically for trailers only. Please do not use this on any other vehicles other than a trailer.
It's not gonna withstand different kind of highway use speeds, that kind of stuff, as far as being on the actual vehicle itself. So it does meet all DOT specifications. It is rated up to 81 miles per hour, as far as the speed rating. Again, make sure you're only going the posted speed limit in your area. It does have a maximum load of 2,540 pounds at 65 PSI and it does have a nice 5 year warranty on the tire itself.
The rim comes with a two year limited warranty. And I wanna zoom in here so I can show you this bolt pattern. So this is considered a six lug. There's six holes there, on five and a half inch lug pattern. And as far as the finish here, it's a very nice black powder coated e-coat.
It's gonna give you a superior oxidation protection with zinc built in there to help protect it. It's pretty much if you think like a spray on bedliner, kind of that texture, not quite as rough, not quite as gritty as that spray on bedliner, but kind of the same design if that helps you out there. And as far as the tread, lemme spin it here for you to see that better. So it's got a computer generated tread design that's gonna have premium rubber and everything built into that design. And as far as you know, holding onto the road in any conditions, it's gonna do just fine. It does come with all the information molded into the tire. Taking a look at the back here, there's a zero offset on this tire. So again, there's no offset, it's all centered perfectly. The pilot diameter is going to be 4.27 inches on that pilot diameter. And again, it's got a load range of D on it, eight flight tire. And as far as the lug holes, they are half inch, so they're a half inch by 20 and again, a 6 lug pattern. And honestly, Kenda has been around for a long time. They make lots of different tires. Their load star is very, very, very popular. One that we sell tons and tons of every single day. Again, they have a five year warranty on the tire, two year on the rim. I used to do customer service here for years and honestly, we rarely saw any of these come back as far as manufacturer issues or anything like that. So you can rest assured it's a real good product and it's gonna get you down the road safely. Well again, that's our look at our Kenda Karrier 225/75 R15 Radial Tire with the 15 inch rim, 6 lug, 5 and a half. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thank you so much for joining me. I hope this information helps you. Have a great day.

Fast shipment, quality product !
Excellent tire, came as described. Also excellent service after sale as I needed to swap out to different rim after my mistake. Thank you Stacey A for your help.
Best bang for the buck.
Exactly what I was looking for and matched what I had on the trailer. Shipping is fast and they have good communication.
One of the tires dates back to Dec 2023. This is old as far as I’m concerned. Tire rack always discloses old inventory FYI.
The delivery portion was great, all came in an individual box, and no damage. The wheels' finish seems durable and looks great. The only reason for 4 stars is the Tires themselves are wearing faster than expected. That said, they do seem to ride better than the previous tires and provide more shock absorption for the horses. I would consider picking them again, even knowing what I know now.
The color didn't quite match what I was looking for, but it's a nice wheel with a good tire. The color was a little darker than I thought it would be.
The Wheel and tire are just what I hoped for when I shopped for my "spare spare." It is of high quality, and reasonable priced. After having 2 blowouts on my trailer in two days a few years ago, I carry two spares. That way I can go on to the next stop without having to make another stop stop to get another tire first. try finding a spare tire replacement on a Sunday. I have it in my tow vehicle, and hope I never have to use it!
Awesome combo, price, and delivery!
Thank you for getting my wheel here in a timely manner.
Great service on time delivery
Fast delivery and great quality at a competitive price. etrailer has never failed to provide prompt, accurate delivery at great prices.
These tires are complete garbage. Had 4 on my trailer when I bought it brand new (1 year old). Had one tire separate at 1k miles, so I ordered this kit to replace it. Have had this tire on for MAYBE 1k miles and it’s shaped like an egg and shaking terribly.
Save your money and buy a better tire.

We have sold a lot of these and this is the first time I have heard a complaint about them. Especially one this serious. I will say that a tire forming an oval shape is typically due to internal structural damage, often caused by severe impacts from potholes, curbs, or road debris. This breaks internal cords and allows air to leak and/or form a bulge, like you are seeing. Are you travelling rough roads, by chance? And also, what psi are you running them at?
