Features to know about

Made for Real Highway Driving: Load Range C with 81-mph Speed Rating

This tire-and-wheel combo is built for serious road time. The Karrier ST205/75R14 radial tire has a 6-ply rating and carries up to 1,925 lbs at 60 psi, matched to a 14" x 5-1/2" aluminum wheel rated for 2,200 lbs. It’s speed rated M (81 mph) and meets DOT specs, so you can run confidently at highway speeds without worrying about excessive heat or tread wear.

Strength That Lasts: Double Steel Belts and Full Nylon Plies

This tire blends the best of bias and radial design—tough construction with highway stability. Its double steel belts and full nylon plies work together to handle heavy loads and long miles, while the premium rubber compound and computer-generated tread pattern maintain traction in wet or dry conditions. It’s built to deliver long service and dependable grip wherever you go.

Corrosion Resistance That Holds Up: Black Machined Aluminum Wheel with Steel Inserts

The 14" black machined aluminum wheel not only looks sharp but resists corrosion thanks to a clear coat on both sides. The only steel on the wheel is found in the lug inserts, which prevent wear or elongation at the bolt holes. That mix of materials gives you a strong, rust-resistant setup that looks good season after season.

Secure Fit Every Time: Improved Clamp Force Technology

The wheel uses Improved Clamp Force (ICF) technology to help keep it securely seated on the hub. When installed correctly, it creates a tight, reliable joint that stays put without frequent retightening of lug nuts. It’s a simple feature that means less maintenance and more time spent towing with confidence.

Added Peace of Mind: 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

For the first year, if the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge under the 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee. Combined with the Kenda 2-year limited warranty on the assembly, you get real protection that matches the durability built into this tire and wheel.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Great communication and fast delivery once in stock. Only place I could find the exact rim that matches my existing boat trailer tires!

by:

My wheel broke at all 5 lug nut locations and derailed from the trailer the first day of use. The correct lug nuts and torque were applied

by:

I ordered a tire on a high end rim. While it arrived in a timely manner someone in quality control circumvented the drug testing. Someone was obviously not thinking clearly when they slapped a 4”x5” sticker on the tire. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it was slapped in the back side of the tire but nooooooo it was slapped on the finished side, on the side with the real attractive rim! It took me 45 minutes to get it all off using Goof Off and Goo Gone and a brush.
Next time it’s going back to them!!!
Scrubbed Off in NC!

Trailer is stored outside and wheels still shine and look nice a year later. Tires have around 8k miles on them and don't show any premature wear.

by:

Tires look awesome. Shipping was very fast and customer service was very responsive.

by:

The Karrier ST205/75R14 tires arrived fast! I had them balanced at a local auto shop (although they already had some weights on them that indicated they might already be balanced). I installed them on my Aliner Ranger 12 myself and just got back from a 1400-mile trip to Montana and back with my camper. The tires performed flawlessly with a smooth ride and no road noise or sway. They are every bit as good as the Karrier tires I replaced!

by:

I ordered these wheels on a Wednesday and received them on Friday. They showed up exactly as I ordered them in brand new condition. Very happy with my purchase, ease of order and quick delivery.

by:

everything arrived on time and no damages. Fast arrival

by:

I can't believe I found the same wheel as on my Keystone trailer! Exactly what I was looking for - I just need to get a Load Range D tire and I'll be set, but the wheel is what I needed.

That's awesome! I know finding the exact match can be tricky sometimes, so I’m glad we had what you needed. If you’re still looking for a tire, we have part # KE28KV, it’s the same tire size in the Load Range D you’re after. Hope you’re off to somewhere fun soon with your Keystone!

@Zepanator Should be all good! We recommend re-torquing after the first 10-25 miles, then checking again after about 50 to 100 miles. If the lug nuts are still good after that, then just check them before you take the trailer out on a trip, especially long trips.

  • What is the Torque on Lug Nuts for a 5 on 4 1/2" Bolt Pattern Wheel?
Thanks for reaching out John, For Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" Aluminum Wheel # KE87JR, we generally recommend the lug nuts be torqued between 90 to 120 ft lbs. Install tips: Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. Torque them with the trailer on the ground using a calibrated torque wrench. Re-torque after the first 25 to 50 miles of towing, especially with new wheels. What motorcycles are you hauling?

  • Why Are Powder Coated Steel Wheels Not Recommended For Fresh Water Boat Trailer
The # AM32161 and # AM32153 have powder coated steel wheels which is why they aren't recommended for a boat trailer. Since you're going to be using the trailer for fresh water and not salt water they wouldn't be as susceptible to corrosion, but it still poses a problem. The powder coat will suffer from chips and cracks over time, which will allow water to seep in through the imperfections causing them to rust. At the very least I would choose the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire...

  • 14" Tire and Wheel Recommendation for Jet Ski Trailer
Hey Alan! I recommend checking out the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # KE87JR but you'll need to ensure the 26.3" overall diameter and 8.0" width will fit your trailer, and the 1,925 lbs at 60 psi weight rating is correct for your trailer. • Which Axle's Trailer Tires Wear Out First on a Tandem Axle Trailer
In general tandem axle trailer tires wear out at the same rate unless something is off. What typically causes there to be an issue is the trailer not sitting level as this puts a lot more stress on one of the axles. Or if there's an alignment issue that will cause problems too. Usually tires on trailers get too old and fail due to age before they actually wear out as they normally only last 4-6 years.
