When you’re hauling at speed or covering long distances, this setup is built to stay cool and steady. The Karrier ST215/75R14 radial tire has a 6-ply rating and carries 1,870 lbs at 50 psi, with an M speed rating of 81 mph. Double steel belts and full nylon plies add strength for long tread life and confidence at highway speeds, all meeting DOT specifications.
Salt, humidity, and road grime don’t stand a chance against the corrosion-resistant aluminum wheel. It’s clear coated on both sides for lasting protection and features a gunmetal gray open-spoke design that looks sharp while resisting rust season after season.
Radial ply construction keeps the cords positioned 90 degrees to the direction of travel, reducing rolling resistance and heat buildup compared to bias designs. That means less wear, better traction in wet or dry conditions, and steadier handling on the road.
Kenda’s Improved Clamp Force (ICF) technology forms a solid joint between the wheel and hub when properly installed. It helps keep lug nuts tight and the wheel securely in place without the need for constant retightening, so you can focus on towing instead of maintenance.
Skip the hassle of mounting tires yourself. This assembly arrives pre-mounted on a 14" x 5-1/2" aluminum wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, 0 offset, and 3.19" pilot diameter—ready to install right out of the box. The matched components are factory assembled for proper fit and balanced performance on the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

It is wild the amount of change a set of wheels and tires can make! I bet it looks great. We'd love to see a picture of the final product if you feel like sharing one :)

Looking good! Did you just replace all of the decking as well?

I used the same setup on a PWC trailer I had several years ago, and I really liked them. They look awesome on your boat trailer!

Truthfully, it’s a spare for the boat trailer. I bought it because it matched the stock rims. I’ve had no issues with the quality and workmanship.
