Question:

I currently have a 2019 Boatmate trailer with moomba boat. It has 205/75/14. Can I go up one size to 205/75/15?

Hey Troy, thanks for the information. A ST205/75R15 like the Karrier item # KE63JR is going to be an inch taller but the same width as your current 205/75/14. The same width is important because you don't have to worry about running into your trailer's frame or suspension components.

What you'll want to be concerned with is the clearance above your tire and how close it is to the fender. 3" is the minimum amount of clearance you're going to need. This is going to account for the suspension moving as you're going down the road.

The Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Aluminum Wheel item # KE63JR is a load range D tire with a 2,200 lbs capacity. The aluminum wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern.

How much clearance do you currently have between the top of your tires and the bottom of the fenders?

Hey Troy, how did things turn out with the 15-inch Karrier tires on your Boatmate trailer? Did you have enough clearance under the fenders for that extra inch of height? Your update could make it easier for others looking to upsize their trailer tires.
