Today we're going to take a look at the 5-1/6" tall rear hanger for 2" wide slipper springs. This rear hanger will work with a trailer suspension system that has 2" wide slipper springs. This is configured as a rear hanger. This is designed to suspend the spring from the trailer frame by providing a resting place for the slipper end of the spring. It is designed to work with a 9/16 diameter bolt. We do sell that separate on our website. It's part number 166079.
Happened to pull that part number. There's your bolt and the nut that's included. Basically that would just go through the hole right down here, come through the other side and you put your nut on there and tighten it down. Now this is designed for trailers with 3,500-pound to 9,000-pound axles. The height they give on this for the rear hanger is 5-1/6". That measurement is from the center of the hole to the top.
If we take our ruler, go center to the top, that will get you your 5-1/6 measurement. That should do it for the review on the 5-1/6" tall rear hanger for 2" wide slipper springs.
Great product fits my need perfectly. The previous owner had bent the frame and bracket. I liked that this product has welded support in the center. With the extra support welded in the bracket and with me not planning on overloading the trailer as the previous owner had done to cause the damage, I feel this will be a permanent fix
If I would have known your shipping process I would have found it local. And saved the wait time wasn't worth it. If you would have explained the shipping better when I purchased it it said it would be her Monday now it probably won't be here till Wednesday or Thursday and I ordered it last Thursday. You should be up front with your shipping details not satisfied
Why are you asking? Apparently you don't read what was emailed to you, about me wanting to return this product. It was the wrong part. I felt ripped off by etrailer. But I found a wonderful wielder/engineer that modified it and and created the hanger part needed to make the repairs.
Very fast shipping. Exactly what I needed. I have a old Redi Haul tilt bed that I use as a utility trailer. Need to move the axle back about a foot.
I ordered these hangers from parts store and they kept saying each day they aren't in yet. I waited almost two weeks still not here..!
I order from etrailer.com on Tues about 3;30 pm and the parts were at my front door by 1;00 pm on Thursday . Excellent service!
This solved my problem with larger size tires. Heavy Duty.

Width, I bought the Bolt which was recomended by the website that said others who bought this bracket also bought this bolt. Well the bolt was definatly not for the bracket.
The welds on these hanger slipper rub rails were terrible. Low penetration and total loss of the shield gas on one long weld. Note the hanger in the picture and video on eTrailer web site has the weld on the wrong side of the rub rail; but my 2 came in with the weld on the correct side. I'll need to re-weld all however due to total lack of quality control. Shipping packing was terrible and half of these hangers were outside the box.
