This steel ladder rack is built to handle daily work use, carrying up to 500 lbs of ladders, lumber, or pipe. The 2" diameter crossbars spread weight evenly across extra-wide upright bases, giving you solid support for heavy gear. With a fixed design and an over-the-cab layout, it’s a dependable setup for hauling long or bulky items without giving up the roof space you need.
The telescoping crossbars adjust from 56" to 77" wide, and the uprights offer 3 height settings from 6-1/4" to 8-1/2". That makes it easy to dial in the right fit for your van’s roof design while keeping everything level and stable. Whether you’re hauling tall ladders or flat materials, the adjustable sizing helps balance clearance and load height for better handling and access.
Made from strong steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant powder coat, this rack is ready for long days on the job and in all weather. The finish helps guard against scratches and rust so the rack stays looking good and working hard over time.
Installation is simple thanks to the clamp-on design that attaches directly to your van’s rain gutters. Just tighten the included bolts to secure the clamps and you’re ready to load up. When you need to remove it, the rack comes off just as easily and leaves no marks behind.

Each upright includes built-in rope hooks that let you tie down cargo quickly and keep everything locked in place. With convenient anchor points right where you need them, you can secure ladders, lumber, or other gear without extra hardware or straps getting in the way.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Flint Hill Goods Two-Bar Steel Ladder Rack for vans. Has a 500 pound weight capacity. Now this van rack will let you carry ladders, lumber, and many more items with ease. They do use telescoping crossbars. You can see they can be adjusted in or out to fit the width of your vehicle.
The crossbar adjustable length will go from a minimum of 56 inches, all the way up to a maximum of 77 inches. And the diameter on these steel tubes is two inches. It is a steel construction, very strong and durable. It does use a corrosion resistant powder coat finish on the parts to protect from any scratches. And on the uprights, we're gonna zoom in over here on one of these uprights, you can see these uprights have an extra wide base on 'em, to disperse the weight evenly.
And right here, when you put your bolt into the end of the cross brace here, it gives you four height settings to bolt it in. Allows the rack to fit most roof designs. The adjustable high-flow range anywhere from six and a quarter inch, all the way up to eight and a half inches. Also, right up here you notice, have the built-in holes on each upright, to allow you to quickly and easily secure the cargo with bungee cords. Now they are very easy clamp-on installation.
You look at the bottom down here, you can see how these will clamp onto the rain gutters. And then you just tighten it down, there's no drilling required. If you notice right here, these black strips they have on here, these rubber strips will help protect your roof from any damage when you install these. All the hardware you need to install is included. And they are also very easy to remove.
Specs again, this fits application, or the application for these are vans that have rain gutters. We mentioned the carrying capacity of 500 pounds. But you do always wanna check the van's roof capacity and use the lowest rating for the capacity you need to go by. It does come with a nice instruction manual, that'll describe how this all goes together and how it installs. But that should do it for the review on the Flint Hill Goods Two-Bar Steel Ladder Rack for vans with the 500 pound capacity..

Product is of good quality and the videos help when I have questions about something.
Functionality is acceptable. It was difficult to get tightened down, also it immediately started showing rust
I like that it can be taken off our van, a chevy express, and put on any other van we may have in the future. The sides have peaks but only a worry if you are going into a garage.
they look heavy duty and well built
You guys are the GREATEST!!!!

Good product for a great price and fast shipping very happy with it.
Product shipped very fast, clear tracking and no waiting around.
Would order from Etrailer.com
Easy to assemble with clear instructions, not that you will need them. I am using them as a canoe rack at a quarter the price of the more prestigious brands. Shipping was fast! Less than 24 hours from ordered to delivered and it was free.
Just wanted to say great service !!! My product was at my door in the matter of a day or two , I was a very easy process for the installation and the racks were good quality and a great price . Thanks Donnie Smith
We bought this rack to haul our canoe on. The rack is very easy for one person to install. There are plenty is places to tie off the canoe, which we also tie onto our van. We were surprised at the lack of wind noise going down the road. The rack is really sturdy as well. Very happy with it.
I use this on the cab roof of an E350 box van to carry a spare tire, it has been rock solid over some very rough terrain.
Started rusting almost immediately from inside the tubes. Mounting screws also started rusting almost immediately.
I actually modified the rack slightly and installed it on a trailer. I strap 2 canoes to the rack, and it works perfect. Money well spent. Thanks again.
Ellen was a great help, I called her back today and placed my order.. Thank You

I love my rack! It allows me to carry an unbelievable payload
Product came packed and strapped correctly like a product of this size should be??. Super simple install and seems to be plenty strong enough for the everyday painting contractor. For the price point this ladder rack is great!
Product as described and incredibly useful. The gutters on my box trailer are relatively narrow, so the clamps needed a bit of adjustment to grip firmly. I expected that from other reviews.

Rust. The cross bars hold rain water and leak a rusty mess onto the trailer roof when it is moved after a rain shower.
This is the second set I’ve bought. Unfortunately the quality is worse than the first set. One of the locating tabs was cracked right out of the package. I’ll weld it back together. But this will be the last set of these bars I’ll buy. Moving on to a different design.

Just received this item today. So far the only issue I have is that the packaging was quite tore up. Causing the crossbars to be exposed. Both ends are scratched up pretty bad, down to bare metal, and one set screw is long gone. Not the fault of eTrailer, rather the shipping and handling. No big deal for me as this item will be heavily modified, welded and painted to match the rest of my project. The gutter brackets are surprisingly well made for the cost. Probably be my first choice for future builds.
I purchased these to carry our kayaks on a four month trip from Florida to Alaska and back, no problems whatsoever!

Wow, Rick, this photo is absolutely breathtaking. It really does look like something straight out of a travel magazine. That whole setup with the van and trailer in front of those mountains is just incredible. This is exactly what life is all about right here. Are you guys up in Alaska in this shot?
