Features to know about

Solid Mounting for Reliable Suspension: 3-1/4" Front and 7/8" Rear Hangers Hold Strong

A good ride starts with strong mounting points. This hanger set gives your single-axle suspension a solid foundation with 3-1/4" tall front hangers and 7/8" tall rear hangers. Built for trailers with 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb axles, each piece provides the right geometry to keep double-eye leaf springs aligned and working smoothly. The steel bushings in the rear hangers add strength where it matters most, keeping the connection tight mile after mile.

Better Clearance Where You Need It: 4-3/4" or 5-3/8" Between Frame and Axle

If your trailer sits too low or bottoms out on rough ground, clearance is often the culprit. These hangers are designed to achieve either 4-3/4" or 5-3/8" of frame-to-axle space, depending on axle size. That extra room helps protect underbody components and makes for a more comfortable, controlled tow over uneven roads.

Built for a Clean Setup: Designed for 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb Single Axles

Matching parts to your axle rating is key for safe suspension performance. This set is made specifically for single-axle setups in the 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb range, giving you the right fit for dependable everyday use. It attaches two double-eye leaf springs securely to the trailer frame, restoring the suspension layout to factory geometry.

Flexible Mounting for Custom Work: Use Included Table to Dial In Hanger Spacing

Trailer builds and repairs aren’t one-size-fits-all. This kit comes with mounting guidance that lets you position the hangers accurately based on your leaf spring and axle combination—20" spacing for 1-3/4" axles or 24-7/8" for 2-3/8" axles. It’s a small detail that makes installation straightforward and ensures your suspension cycles the way it should.

Video Transcript for Comprehensive Review: Single-Axle Trailer Hangers for Double-Eye Springs

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter single axle trailer hangers for 1-3/4 inch wide double eye springs on 2,000 pound to 7,000 pound axles. Now, this hanger set here will include the 3-1/4 inch tall front hangers and the 7/8 inch tall rear hangers for mounting your springs to your 2,000 pound to 7,000 pound single axle trailer frame. It includes the two 3-1/4 inch tall front hangers. And when we say the height, when you measure the height, it's not from the bottom to the top, it's measured from the center of that bolt hole to the top. So on this one, if we take our ruler and we go center to the top, you can see there's your 3-1/4 inch measurement for the tall front hangers.

On the rear, it's the same way. You don't measure overall top to bottom. You'll measure center where the bolt hole goes to the top. So in this if we do it is right about 7/8 inch tall rear hangar. Does have the steel bushings in it you can see.

Now, the shackle straps, the bolts, and the components for mounting your axle to the springs are sold separately. This will attach two 1-3/4 inch wide leaf springs to your trailer frame. And I do recommend to use the table that's listed on the product page of this part number and it'll help you determine the hangar location based on the type of leaf springs you're using. These parts here will achieve 4-3/4 inch or 5-3/8 inch clearance between your trailer frame and the axle depending on your axle size. But that should do it for the review on the Dexter single axle trailer hangers for the 1-3/4 inch wide double eye springs on 2,000 pound to 7,000 pound axles.

Product is exactly what was needed. As always E-Trailer delivered as promised. Can't beat the service.

The bushing in the rear hanger is a little small. Should have been made from a piece DOM steel stock instead of a rolled form piece of sheet steel that isn't even welded at the seam.

Perfect for my 3.5k Lippert axel on my canoe trailer build.

Good quality and fair price
