This round amber LED clearance or side marker light puts out bright, clean light while drawing just 0.06 amps at 12V. It runs on 9V–16V DC systems and lasts up to 50 times longer than traditional incandescent lights. With no fragile filaments to burn out, you get consistent performance and lower power use every time you hook up.
No need for a separate reflector—the built-in reflex reflector is part of the lens. That means fewer holes to drill and less clutter on your trailer’s surface. It meets DOT requirements and keeps your lighting setup looking simple and streamlined while staying compliant.
The sturdy polycarbonate base and traditional incandescent-style acrylic lens hold up well against bumps and road spray. A foam gasket helps form a weathertight seal between the light and trailer surface, keeping the internal components protected from dust and moisture during normal use.
Mounting this light is easy—just secure it to the trailer surface using the built-in flange. It accepts an industry-standard 2-wire plug for power and ground, so wiring takes only a few minutes. With an overall diameter of 3-7/16" and a 2-1/2" light face, it fits neatly on most flat mounting areas for a clean finished look.
This P2-rated light produces a 90-degree beam spread, giving clear visibility straight on while marking the trailer’s edges effectively. It’s ideal as either a clearance or side marker light, making it easy for others to spot your trailer in low-light conditions or at night.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the LED trailer clearance, or side marker light. This is going to be a nice addition to your trailer to make sure that people can see you while you're going down the road. Operates as a clearance or side marker light since this is a P2 rated light. Basically, that just means that you can only see it from about a 45 degree angle. So you can't see it from a full 180 degrees, that would be a PC rated light.
If you want something like that, where you can be a side marker and clearance light at the same time, there are other lights available here etrailer.com that are PC rated. So you can find those right here. The other nice thing about this particular light though, is that in addition to being an LED light, it also has a reflector. So even when the light isn't on, you can still have some visibility with this light. So it gives people an idea of where your trailer is. It makes it more safe while you're out on the road.
So we can take a little closer look at it. You can see that I do have it illuminated. Just has the single LED in there, or a single diode. It also has this little kind of paper grommet at the back to help give a backing to that reflector. You can kind of see that with my lights here, can turn my apparatus off.
Even with the light off, it's still giving off some reflective light all the way around on the lens, and on the outer flange.Turn the power back on. And I'm going to turn the light out in my studio so you can get a better idea of how bright this light is even in the dark. So not anything that's going to illuminate the night, but definitely gives you more visibility so that people can see where you are. And of course, keep us safe on the road, maintain DOT compliance and all that good stuff. And turn our lights back on. The way that this is wired up is using a two-prong industry standard plug.
Doesn't come with it, but you can find these available here etrailer.com. This is one that comes out at a right angle, and then the wires go down. There are other ones where the wires can go to the side or straight out. So it just depends on your application, and how you want to run those wires back from the light. So I'm going to unplug that. You can see those two little prongs on the back. You can also get a little retaining clip to go around there to hold that plug in place. Not a bad idea to grab to make sure that that wiring stays where it needs to be. You can see there's a little bit of dielectric grease in those prongs to keep out the water and dirt and debris. So as far as size, from outside edge to outside edge, it's about three and seven sixteenths of an inch in diameter. So just under three and a half inches. Overall depth, including those little prongs, about an inch. And then, about an inch and a quarter. The light face itself, without that reflector, going around is about two and a half inches in diameter. So just this portion here. The power draw at 12 volts is 0.06 amps. That's another advantage to the LED, is that it does have a very low power draw, but still is going to be about as bright as your typical incandescent bulb. The operating voltage is between nine and 16 volts. So it works with 12 volt DC systems. Has a limited lifetime warranty made in the USA, DOT compliant. Again, it is a P2 rated light, so it just produces that 90 degree beam pattern. So you can only really see it from one angle. But that's going to do it for our look at the LED trailer clearance light. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right light for you. If not, we do have a lot of other options available here etrailer.com. So check them out. Thanks for watching.

Plug and play. My old light was incandescent but this LED isn't overpowering
Great responsiveness, communication, and customer service.
Fast shipping
The wire wasn't right in the middle so had to modify a bit to fit my trailer. Also, not incredibly bright, but it'll serve its purpose.
I found exactly what I was looking for at a great price, but shipping was a bit high for such a small item. thank you
I would give a 10 if they had one.super group of people to work with fast service.i would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has trailer problems.etrailer is the place to go.thank you folks for all your help.
The light looks of great quality.
Received immediately. Easy to install and works great. My only concern is that they are made out of a very light plastic material and were a little pricey for single LED lights. They are definitely bright enough. I have not had a chance to put the trailer in the water to see if they are waterproof, but I’m sure they are.
1 of 4 defective, Red marker LED defective dull light and off center, not damaged in shipping, actually defective from manufacturing. Otherwise the other three were of good quality
Had these lights on RV for a few years. Works well, only one light failed recently. Would recommend to others.
The lights themselves are great and look good at night. Installed 7, 2 Reds and 5 Yellows on my horse trailer.
What was not so good was the cost. The Reds at the time I ordered were $x.xx each, while the Yellows were $xx.xx apiece. They are the exact same light with different color lenses. Why is that???
Anyhow, needed them and bought them.
Also, the shipping was right on, arrived quickly.
it goes on and off when i need it too
Perfect fit! Arrived quickly
These are the same ones that are on my trailer! I need to replace two of them that are broke!!
What incredible customer service Cody. Cheers and thanks.
Excellent product!! Quick shipping!! Will do business again.
Thank you
2/3 of my order arrived correctly but one pair did not arrive, instead something I did not order arrived instead,
These clearance lights are the bees knees! The old bulb style were rusted and not working properly. Was able to remove them and these fit the holes perfectly on the trailer. I used a heat shrink connector to keep it waterproof. Love how bright they are!
