Need extra light over your camper kitchen sink for when you do the dishes? Or perhaps you need to upgrade the dim, old lights in your enclosed car hauler? This dome light has warm white LEDs that give you brighter light underneath a kitchen cabinet, in a walkway, above a shower stall, or inside a small hunting cabin.
LEDs are more energy efficient, last longer, and burn brighter than lights with incandescent bulbs. You won't have to worry about replacing bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery, overload your circuits, or produce too much heat.
Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens
Lumens are utilized to measure the actual amount of light that you can see and use from a light source. If you need a super bright light for a workspace, you will want to go with a light that has a higher lumen count. If you want a softer glow in an RV living space, you should go with a light that has a lower lumen count.
Light sources typically have 2 different kinds of lumens: raw and effective. Raw lumens represent the natural amount of light that a manufacturer says their light fixtures can produce. Effective lumens, on the other hand, represent the usable brightness of the entire light assembly, including the drive method or any lenses or reflectors.
Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This surface-mount dome light is incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or direct replacement of your existing light. To access the bolt holes, pull the lens up and away from the housing. Do not use any tools to remove the lens, as it will crack. Then, using hardware (not included), bolt the housing onto the ceiling, wall, or cabinet before re-installing the lens. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire). Once you're finished, you can then turn the light on and off using the integrated toggle switch in the center of the light. And if you want to be able to control the brightness of the light, you can connect it to an LED-compatible dimmer switch (not included).

Much better than the old incandescent bulb fixture. Not only brighter, but way more efficient. Easy to replace. No excuse not to update an older coach with LED light fixtures.
Like the many satisfied reviewers above, I love these new LED light fixtures. I installed nine of them in an afternoon, including a trip to the hardware store to pick up some wire nuts. My Springdale trailer had crimped wire connectors which I cut off. Here are a few pictures of the results.

The LED light fixtures are great. The light output is bright and easy on the eyes. I spent three weeks boondocking in the desert last year and my batteries lasted a very long time. Well worth the the reasonable cost and easy installation. Friends have commented on the lights and well be covering to LEDs also.
I used these lights under the cabinets that are above my break (mini kitchenette) and under the cabinets mounted above the work stations area of my office trailer. They are a great addition to the overhead lighting fixtures (dual version of this same light). Couldn't be happier with my decision to use this fixture.

After using these lights for a year, I Couldnt be happier with them. They provide just the right amount of light for my work stations.
I have bought several items from etrailer and their products have been good and did what they said. So far very happy with them....In two pics you can see the old factory lights in comparison to the news ones and the new ones do not git hot like factory ones

We bought two of these lights and installed one in each part our small rv closet, which was pretty dark before. They are perfect: they brighten the space nicely and the yellow LEDs look really warm. We had to read on how to slide the clear cover off in order to install, but it was no big deal. The fixtures are light but seem sturdy. The etrailer website was well-organized and one of the only sites with real pictures, so we felt comfortable that this light would be exactly what we wanted.
I purchased 7 double lights and 2 single lights last week and my wife and I installed them in our RV. They are so much brighter and cooler operating than our other lights, we love them. We would recommend these lights to anyone that needed new lights, Thanks etrailer. We replaced our old lights because they were a hot burning light and the plugs in the old lights were turning dark or black because of the heat of the bulbs.
I was surprised that I got my last order so promptly. Once again it was an easy job replacing 4 more old fixtures with etrailer's RVILL33. The difference in lighting is truly welcome at our trailer.

After hearing good things about LED lighting for 12v systems I decided to give it a try. Cost for me is an issue so I purchased this one and so far I am not disappointed. I have gone ahead and ordered another one.

I placed one of these lights on the side walls in my 8' x 5' box trailer last summer ('16) and each is still burning bright. I'm happy to report that the interior of my trailer continues to be very well lit.
Nice looking light. Easy to install and bright as expected . Great upgrade for my teardrop camper. Lens is a tight fit so take care when sliding it off light body.
Nice lights. Easy instillation and works great. These replaced four ceiling lights in our motorhome that were connected to one switch and very bright. Now we can turn on just one or however many we want with a push of a button. Nice light also.

I purchased both the single and double Optronics RV LED lights to replace the standard interior lights in my 2014 Cougar travel trailer. WOW, what a difference! The stock incandescent lighting was dim and yellowish in comparison to the bright, white light emitted from these new fixtures. The lights I replaced also radiated quite a bit of heat while these do not get hot. This will save my RV battery from draining power when not hooked up to 110. The installation was direct and nearly effortless as the mounting hole locations were the same. Basically, just remove old lights, hook up the 2 wires from LED lights and remount...taking about 10 minutes from start to finish. GREAT purchase!

Brilliantly!
I ordered this light to replace the bathroom ceiling light in my motorhome. My mistake was that the old light was wider than this one. I kept this light and gave it to a friend Then I ordered the light that looks like two of these lights in one housing, which I installed yesterday. That double sized product is "Optronics LED RV Interior Light with Switch - 18 Diodes - Surface Mount - White Housing
Item # RVILL34". The great thing about these lights is that the whole fixture with LEDs included costs quite a bit less than buying an LED panel that replaes just an incandescent bulb. In my case, I could not find a bulb replacement (incandescent to LED) that would fit the socket of the incandescent bulb. The LED array of this product is brighter and cheaper to operate. It was easy to find the product on the etrailer web site, the price was right, and shipping was reasonably fast even though I am in Seattle and the product shipped from the midwest by UPS + USPS .

It still works great. We like the lower use of precious RV electricity.
Let me start out by saying I love these etrailer lights, and the drain on the batteries is negligible. Like other reviewers, I have to agree the lenses on the lights were a bit difficult to remove. I was afraid of breaking them but realized they are quite tough. By using my squeekie-clean palms of my hands and sliding back, the lenses came off easily. The lights, while much lighter in weight than the factory lights, are very high quality. The lights were very easy to mount, the diffusers spread the light evenly, and the light they put out compared to the incandescent is amazing... almost double. With all the lights on in my trailer there are no dark spots anywhere, yet there is no harsh glare even when sitting on the couch with the overhead and wall lights on. I replaces 8 of 10 lights in the trailer leaving only a couple of lights we never use. I highly recommend these lights.

A year in to the lights and they still out perform any other product out there. No more worrying about battery drain or weather we will have enough light to read small print. I have recommended them to friends and they are also very impressed.
Exact replacement fixture to the existing one
4 of them have worked fine for 1 year so far.
We brought a closed in trailer back in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina hit here where we live in New Orleans. We been having the trailer for 13 years now. The lights on the trailer started not to work so we upgraded all the old lights to LED because the old lights were falling apart. We also installed this light about a year ago. We installed this light inside of the trailer and it works great and provides enough light.

We replaced all of the light fixtures in our camper with RVILL33 light fixtures and have been extremely pleased with them. Easy to install, this LED lighting provides bright light that is so much cooler than conventional light bulbs in a compact space.

Weve been so happy with the LED light fixtures that we installed in our camper. With nine lights, the conventional lighting made the small cabin warm, especially in the summertime. But these LEDs gave plenty of light without additional heat. They have been efficient, giving plenty of light where needed. We camped for a month and our electric bill was low - in large part to these light fixtures. The price for the fixtures was right, the product is quality, and our customer satisfaction is complete.
