This Fusion LED light packs 20 diodes that handle stop, tail, turn, and backup functions all in one 6-7/16" x 2-1/4" oval housing. The outer band of 10 red LEDs handles stop, tail, and turn duties, while the center 10 white LEDs fire up for backup. At 12V, the LEDs use less power but put out a stronger, cleaner light than old bulbs—and you’ll never have to deal with brittle filaments or swapping bulbs again.
If your trailer sees rain or ramp launches, this light has you covered. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that’s submersible. Durable polycarbonate construction means it won’t crack or fog up from moisture intrusion, keeping the LEDs protected and shining bright no matter the weather.
This light uses surface-mount technology (SMT) on the circuit board to better resist shock and vibration. That means it keeps working even after long runs on rough roads or gravel. The improved heat distribution also helps extend LED life—lasting up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
Installation is straightforward with the hardwired leads: black for tail, red for stop/turn, brown for backup, and white for ground. The recessed mount design keeps the light tucked in and protected, and it’s ready to drop into a grommet (rubber grommet sold separately). Once mounted, you get a clean, factory look with solid performance that meets DOT and FMVSS 108 standards.

Today, we're gonna take a look at this Optronics Oval Fusion LED hardwired stop, tail, turn, and backup trailer light with the red and the clear X lens. Now, this is an oval trailer taillight, has a nice, smooth, bright red exterior, stars four different functions. Now, I do have this hooked up to some 12 volt power just to show you those four different functions. So what we're gonna do first is go ahead and turn on our power, and you can see the tail light function come on. Turn off our lights, and there's your taillights.
And then when you apply your brakes, you'll be able to see how much brighter those lights get. Now, that's 10 red LEDs that are either the taillight or the brake, and then when you hit your turn signal, it's the same 10 red LEDs that'll get brighter and flash for the turn signal. And then the last thing I wanted to show you was the backup light, and the backup light, we'll go ahead and hook that up. The backup light will be that center X. And the center X, whoop, lost our wire here, let me go ahead and hook it back up again.
There we go. You'll be able to see when we go ahead and do the reverse light or go into reverse, you can see it's 10 white LEDs in that X lens that'll light up. So when you go into reverse, you'll be able to see that it will light up and let people know that you're going back in reverse, very bright. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. We'll disconnect everything.
This is in a nice sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens unit, which makes it submersible. This does use durable SMT technology, which stands for surface mount technology, that's basically the construction of your LED circuit board. That technology lets you better withstand shock and vibration, it allows for improved heat distribution. We mentioned this uses LEDs, so they do make great replacements for your incandescent lights, 'cause they'll last about 50 times longer, and they're more efficient, because they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And the nice thing is there's no bulbs that have to be replaced or brittle filaments that'll break, and you do get a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.
Now, the red lens right here, sets with this white X lens in the middle here. It does use the red lens with the red LEDs for the taillight, and then as we showed you, the clear lens with the white LEDs for the backup light. Now, this does mount by a recessed grommet mount design, uses a rubber grommet that this will mount into. Now, the grommet is not included, we do sell that separately, it's part number A70GB. You can see this is hardwired, ready to install, the wire length is about eight inches. This light is DOT, Department of Transportation compliant, does meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 108 requirements for automotive lighting. And the wires themselves, just to go through them, the black wire is for your taillights, white wire is for your ground, red wire is your stop and turn, and then your brown wire is for your backup lights. This is a 12 volt light. Last thing, just give you the dimensions on it. If we measure the length, one into the other, 6 3/8 inches long, width on it, 2 1/4 inches wide, total depth on it, right at one inch. But that should do it for the review on this Optronics Oval Fusion LED hardwired stop, tail, turn, and backup trailer light with the red and the clear X lens.

Added this to our Arcimoto that we converted to a flatbed. The electronics is driven by Pulse Width Modulation coding in an MRS Module and we don’t have the code. So we had to buy these with less draw (due to less LEDs). They work perfectly. The backups work perfectly (which it had none but the wiring was there). Probably the best lit Arcimoto in the world :) High quality. Fit in the grommet and bracket from another set of lights that had too much draw - so that shows these are very standard size. Pics show no backup, then backup. They are bright!
These are a perfect replacement for the old lights on my Aliner. Had them wired up in not time. The only thing that presented a problem is that they mount flush. This means that the wires have to line up with wiring holes on a camper. With an Aliner there is one hole for each side, but they are offset to the right. My solution for this is to make risers with cutaways for the wires to run in to the offset holes. I'm using plastic cutting board material to make the risers.
