Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Hydraulic Jack Adapter Lugs for JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kits

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Hydraulic Jack Adapter Lugs. Now, these are going to allow you to attach your JT's Strong Arm stabilizers to your hydraulic landing gear jacks. Each lug is going to allow for an attachment of one stabilizer. These are going to attach to your round footpads on your landing gear as you can see in that diagram there that's showing you where to get them installed. These can be welded on or bolted on, they do include the mounting bolts here, so if you are going to bolt them on, you'll just need to drill a 3/8 inch hole and then use some sealant or thread tight on the threads there to make sure that they've got a nice tight threading.

But if you are gonna weld them in place, these are a unfinished steel, so you can very easily get them welded in place on your footpads. One thing that a lot of our neighbors have commented is because these are unfinished, after you get them installed, it's a good idea to put some paint on there or something to protect them from corrosion. But if you are looking to attach your JT's Strong Arm stabilizers to your hydraulic landing gear jack's footpads, these are going to be exactly what you need. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.

Thanks for watching.

by:

Parts arrived on time and worked to replace on that was sheared off the landing pad. Expensive for such a small part but that is the manufacturer’s doing and not eTrailer.

by:

Worked great.

by:

These look to be well made adapter lugs but it will be best to try and find someone to weld them to the round Lippert landing gear foot pads because the countersunk screws will just get ground off after a few landing gear extensions onto concrete RV spaces.

by:

It's complete garbage that you downs over $[XX] for a kit compatible with 5th wheel trailers and the only mention of these are for hydraulic jacks. I don't have hydraulic jacks, I have electric telescoping jacks so I should have been good right? Nope, chatted with etrailer rep who told me they are considered hydraulic even though they aren't. This is total BS. So now I've got my front stabilizers installed and have to spend $[XX] on $[XX] worth of metal, at most. They really catch you with this one. I would recommend steadyfast over this product. You get what you need in that kit and no bending you over a barrel like they do with this kit from Lippert.

by:

Lippert sells there JT's strong arms as a basic kit. And the majority of us have to buy extra pieces to adapt the strong arms to to our particular use. These adapters are raw steel as they can be welded in place and will corrode if not painted or covered. In my case I had them welded then the landing pad powder coated.

by:

Very heavy duty and nice machining but significantly over priced for what they are. 3 out of 5 stars simply for the price!

by:

If you use these you will need 2 more swing bolts than what comes with the kit. I called Lippert and they sent me 2.

by:

Very expensive and I had to paint then. Product is well made and does exactly what I needed.

It is still working as advertised. Just need to remember that you need to loosen the T-bolt before you try to raise your landing gear.

  • Recommended Stabilizing Kit for Lippert Auto Leveling System on 2017 Keystone Sprinter 5th Wheel
The auto leveling system on your 2017 Keystone Sprinter is a Lippert auto leveling system, so the stabilizers that I recommend are the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit which are also by Lippert and confirmed to work. If you have more than 58 inches between your front landing gear legs, then you will want part # LC191023. If you have less than 58 inches, then you will want part # LC191024. You will also need the Adapter Lug, # LC314592, for the rear leveling legs.

  • Installing JT Strongarm Stabilizer on a 16 Grand Design Reflections 337RLS 5th Wheel w/4 pt Leveling
Yes, the JT Strong Arm Stabilizer System # LC191023 will work with your LCI Level Up System. I checked with Lippert and found that you can use the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit # LC191023 with the adapter lugs # LC314592. For your LCI level up system will need a quantity of 6 adapter lugs, these are sold as a quantity of 2 on our site. The manufacture also provided me with instructions I will be sending you in a separate email. I have linked the adapter lugs to this page for...

  • What JT Strongarm Kit Should I Get For My 5th Wheel With 54-1/4' Between Landing Gears
Hey John, Since you have less than 58" between those landing gears you will want to go with part # LC191024. This is a kit specifically for 5th wheels with a distance between landing gears less than 58". Along with that you will want to go with # LC314592 which are adapters that will be used for the electric/hydraulic ones in the rear. This has everything needed to install in the kit for you. What trailer are you putting these on?

  • Can I Install The JT's Strong Arm Stabilization Kit On A Hydraulic Auto Leveling System?
Tri Pods do give you a major boost in stabilization, but a system like the JT Strong Arm Stabilizer Kit # LC191025 will be much more stabilizing. Why? Well you are taking your current jack and adding two separate components, creating a larger spread compared to scissor jacks. Also creating two bigger triangles will result in more stabilization. So, the Strong Arm Jack Stabilization is the more stable route. If I were installing these arms, I would be using two of the adapter lugs # LC314592...

Update: Got your picture, unfortunately the MORryde 5th Wheel Cross Brace Landing Gear Stabilizer # MR72AR doesn't currently offer a mounting bracket to connect to your round leveling jacks. The JT's Strong Arm Stabilizer Kit # LC191023 paired with the either # LC314597 to adapt it to electric jacks, or # LC314592 to adapt it to hydraulic jacks, can be used with auto leveling jacks without issue. I spoke to MORryde and the # MR72AR said that this should not be used with hydraulic auto leveling jacks, unfortunately. • Adding Stabilization Jacks To Fifth Wheel Trailer That Uses Lippert 3.0 Ground Control
Yes, you can add two stabilizer jacks to the long tail portion of your Sabra to help stabilize it along with your Lippert Ground Control part # LC675817. I recommend the pair of 2 Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979031 to add to the rear of the trailer. You probably do not have holes in the trailer frame at the rear of your trailer so you will most likely need to drill into the support brace of the trailer frame to attach the brackets of the jacks. • Can JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit be Used on Round Hydraulic Landing Gear Jacks
Yes, the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit # LC191023 referenced in your question can be used with hydraulic round jacks like what you have on your 2018 Grand Design as long as you add the Hydraulic Jack Adapter Lugs # LC314592. These adapter lugs can be welded or bolted onto the foot pads of your landing gear to allow the JT's Strong Arm stabilizers to attach to the jacks. • Recommended 5th Wheel Landing Gear Stabilizers For Round Tube Landing Gear Legs
Hi Brian, The MORryde 5th Wheel Cross Brace Landing Gear Stabilizer # MR72AR mounting brackets require a square tube design in order to install so these braces won't be a fit for your round tube landing gears. Instead you'll need the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for 5th Wheel RVs w/ 58" or More Between Landing Gear # LC191023 or # LC191024 (Less Than 58" Between Landing Gear). • Can JT's Strong Arm Stabilizers be Used with Lippert 6-Point Landing Gear and Jack System
Yes, you can use JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer # LC191025 with the Ground Control or Level Up system on your trailer if you added the adapter lugs # LC314592. The adapter lugs are sold in quantities of 2. The JT's kit listed above is the travel trailer version. It looks like your trailer is a 5th wheel so you would need # LC191023 for a 5th wheel if the landing gear has 58 inches or more between the front jack legs. If less than 58 inches use # LC191024. One of the best items to stabilize...

  • Can the JT Strong Arm be used with the Lippert Ground Control 3.0?
From what I could find out, you can definitely use the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit # LC191023 with your Ground Control 3.0. It is suggested that the adapter # LC314592 is used to attach the bars to the feet as the bottom of the jacks on the Ground Control is a little to cluttered, for the lack of a better way to put it. These do come as a pack of 2, so you will need 3 sets to complete the install.
