Mounting the Chock and Lock

Adjust the chocks using the threaded rod and nut at the top of each unit. Simply place a chock, in the open position, between the tandem tires and turn the nut on the rod until the width of the unit fits the spacing of your tires. Then press the handle down into the locked position to hold the chock firmly in place. The handle can be locked with a padlock (sold separately) for additional peace of mind.

Easy way to keep your flatbed trailer from rolling away when unhitched! I also have a set for my camper trailer. I tied a bright nylon rope, as an indicator, to help remind me to remove them before I head out.

After about the third time I used them one broke . The aluminum rivet in the cam lever sheared off I would not recommend this product. They should not be made with aluminum pop rivets

TBW, I am in the customer service department at Ultra-Fab Products and I am sorry that one of your Chock has failed. I do want to let you know that we use steel rivets in our Chock & Locks and handle is held in place with a small machine screw and sometimes this screw will break. This is a proven product for us and we have very few warranty problems. Also your Chock & Locks do have a lifetime warranty so I would like to hear from you so we can help you with your broken Chock.

If your using conventional wheel chocks, and are tired of your rig rocking with every walk across the floor, I highly recommend these chock/stabilizers. They were easy to set up, and totally eliminate the rocking.

by:

Easy to setup, easy to install, easy to remove and help with vibration and rocking motion. Especially front to back vibration. Not a miracle worker but very helpful.

by:

Used tire chocks and my trailer moved back an forth, Bought a pair tire locks and trailer doesn't budge put stands down and now im very stable no movement. Great product would recomend to any one

works great stops trailer from any movement backnforth

by:

Love them, It is amazing how little movement the trailer has now with these wheel chocks... Just make sure you get the correct width between the tires....

David C.

6/3/2020

Still working Great. Little to no movement. Quality is holding up good.

by:

Simply the best and easiest. This is the only model I found that once set up you need no tools. It’s one of those things that if it’s not quick and easy you may not use it as often. I use this on a 12,000 lb work trailer that we park in some steep driveways. My trailer is moved often and this is a snap to install and holds better than wheel chocks

by:

I originally bought a set for my first trailer and liked them so much that when I bought my second trailer, I bought a second set of them. Before you try to use them the first time adjust them to the tire gap and then once adjusted they are simple and easy to use.

I am still very happy with the wheel chocks. They are so easy to use and Im sure they will last for many years to come. Once again Etrailer has come through with quality products at a fair price.

by:

These do a great job securing the trailer on un-level ground. I always worried about the camper moving even with wheel chocks and the stabilizers down, but this solved the problem. Fine tuning the adjustable nut so you get the correct pressure on the tires takes a little time, but the results are worth it. I would buy these again without hesitation.

by:

The trailer is now steady as a rock. These chocks work as advertised. My wife is happ and you know what that means.

Super !!!

by:

all the products that came from e-trailer is a very good. fifth wheel hitch etc. I will always purchase my trailer needs from e-trailer. thks

by:

Heavey duty steel construction. The lever arm does provide enough expansion to lock the twin axle wheels and prevent movement. The chocks do prevent movement when walking around in trailer and are effective as chocks. However the pivot points are large pop rivet construction and a sloppy fit. Personally I would rather see hardened bolts and locking nuts.

by:

These have reduced/stopped the rocking of my trailer which is the reason I purchased them. My only issue is that my tires are so close together I am not able to put a lock on them. I have purchased other items from etrailer and have been very pleased with their service.

by:

These wheel locks worked great. they are light weight and easy to install. etrailer delivered them fast. I also bought the towing mirrors which are good quality. I am very happy with my purchase and the customer service i received from etrailer.

by:

I just purchased a set of these for my toy hauler. They took a few minutes to get set up properly. Watch your fingers during this process as it is easy to get bit. Not a big deal since you only need to do this once before use. They were easy to install and do a great job of keeping the trailer in place. These are much better than the cheap plastic wheel chocks as you don't have to move the trailer and preload them against the tires to work properly. I wish I would have bought these years ago.

by:

It's a great idea with poor quality screws. Took it out of the box and while doing the intial adjustment the screw that the locking handle rotates on (it handles the stress of pinching between the tires) sheared off. So a new item out of the box needs to be drilled out and the screw replaced with a quality bolt. Other than that I think the idea and adjustability of the item should work well. Just think I should have lasted longer than 5 minutes before I have to fix it.

by:

This product is easy to adjust to fit between camper tires and easy to install with just a flick of a lever. They hold the camper secure and alleviate rocking forward and back.

by:

RV wheel chocks work great. The grab handles make it easy to place them between the tires & hold them in-place while expanding them to lock the tires in-place.

by:

The Ultra-Fab Chock & Wheel Stabilizers are pretty much what I expected. The build quality is good and they are perhaps even a bit more heavy duty than I thought they'd be. I was pleased that the adjustment and cam lever worked exactly as shown in the video. Though we haven't had the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of camping with them yet, it seem clear they will eliminate any to-and-fro motion in the trailer due to wheel movement.

by:

Though I haven't installed these lock wheel stabilizers on our trailer as yet, I was very pleased with the timeliness of their arrival to my home. The stabilizers seem to be of good quality and were reasonably priced. If the need arises, I will make other purchases from etrailer.com. Thanks! Bob S.

by:

I always chock my wheels but the trailer still would oscillate fore and aft. These seem to solve that problem as advertised. Like the idea of being able to lock them (Don't want them wandering away) as the investment is significant to an old guy on a fixed income. Great service and fast shipping from etrailer team. Problem? Just call Customer Service and ask for Ian. Really good at his craft.

by:

These work ok. They take extra time to get them to be really tight or they will fall off. My trailer’s tires are a little farther apart (6 inch gap) which could be the problem. After 1 year of use, they show no signs of wear or failure.

by:

I have a 32' fifth wheel which I purchased this product for. This is an excellent product that is well made and has been resistant to rust. It will greatly improve the stability of your camper and reduce movement of your camper when parked. For those sensitive to camper movement this product is very beneficial. I recommend this product to other camper owners.

by:

Initially a little difficult to adjust to fit. Then have to get them in the same spot between the tires each time to lock in place properly. After using several times have figured is out and they work okay.

The kit you need is the part # UF21-001091. This setup is designed for wheel spacings of up to 10-1/2 inches so it would work well on yours that is 6-1/2 inches. Check out the review video I attached for more info as well.

  • Should One or Two Ultra-Fab # UF21-001070 Chock and Locks Be Used on Tandem Axle Trailer
Using two of the chocks is recommended (in fact, part # UF21-001070 includes two of them.) The Chock and Lock stabilizers brace your tandem wheels against one another, stabilizing your trailer even on unlevel terrain. No more front-to-back motion. Using a single chock on only one side would be much less effective than using two of them. I've linked you to a product demonstration video for the chocks that you might find helpful.

  • Will Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers Work on a Trailer w/Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers
It sounds like the axles are not quite aligned. To determine if that is the case you can measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel on one side then do the same on the other side. If they are off by more than 1/8 of an inch you will need to adjust the axle positions by loosening the suspension, making adjustments, and tightening it all back up again. It would take a lot of force to compress the rubber springs in the Equa-Flex system and you would not be...

Having 2 will provide extra protection but using 1 is usually enough depending on your intended application. These chocks work well to prevent a trailer from rocking when parked. Having just one will reduce this rocking some but 2 will be ideal.
