  • Wheel chocks eliminate give between tandem-axle tires to prevent rocking when parked

    • Padlocks sold separately
  • Super-grip louvers on arms grip tire tread to prevent slipping
  • Heavy-gauge steel construction

Specs:

  • Quantity: 2 wheel chocks
  • Application: dual-axle trailers and RVs
    • Wheel spacing: 1-1/2" - 5-1/4"

Note: The purpose of the Chock and Lock is to limit front-to-back motion on parked tandem-axle trailers. Do not use as brakes or wheel wedges.

Eliminate the annoying rocking of your trailer or RV no matter where you park it. The Chock and Lock stabilizers brace your tandem wheels against one another, stabilizing your trailer even on unlevel terrain. No more front-to-back motion.

Chock and Lock

Mounting the Chock and Lock

Adjust the chocks using the threaded rod and nut at the top of each unit. Simply place a chock, in the open position, between the tandem tires and turn the nut on the rod until the width of the unit fits the spacing of your tires. Then press the handle down into the locked position to hold the chock firmly in place. The handle can be locked with a padlock (sold separately) for additional peace of mind.

  • Tandem Axle Trailer Wheel Stabilizer Recommendation for Tires 6-1/2 inches Apart
The kit you need is the part # UF21-001091. This setup is designed for wheel spacings of up to 10-1/2 inches so it would work well on yours that is 6-1/2 inches. Check out the review video I attached for more info as well.

  • How To Use Super Grip Chock Wheel Stabilizers for Tandem Trailer On An Incline or Hill
The Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers for Tandem-Axle Trailers and RVs part # UF21-001070 are good for stabilizing the fifth wheel with back and forth movement. Since your fifth wheel is on an incline I recommend to still use wheel chocks Andersen Camper Wheel Chock and Leveler part # AM3604. The wheel stabilizers UF21-001091 are not designed to keep the trailer from going down the hill just to stabilize the wheels.

  • Should One or Two Ultra-Fab # UF21-001070 Chock and Locks Be Used on Tandem Axle Trailer
Using two of the chocks is recommended (in fact, part # UF21-001070 includes two of them.) The Chock and Lock stabilizers brace your tandem wheels against one another, stabilizing your trailer even on unlevel terrain. No more front-to-back motion. Using a single chock on only one side would be much less effective than using two of them. I've linked you to a product demonstration video for the chocks that you might find helpful.

  • Security of the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers # UF21-001070
The Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers, # UF21-001070, with a pad lock cannot be defeated by loosening the nut. The chock is designed to protect the nut from unthreading once the chocks are in place. Check out the video I made for you that shows how the nut is protected.

  • Is Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizer Sold in Pairs or Just 1 Chock
If you were to order Ultra-Fab wheel chock # UF21-001060, you would receive 1 wheel chock. For a pair you can use part # UF21-001070. Having 2 will provide extra protection but using 1 is usually enough depending on your intended application. These chocks work well to prevent a trailer from rocking when parked. Having just one will reduce this rocking some but 2 will be ideal.

  • Stabilizer for Fifth Wheel Trailer That is Lived In
While there is an option for stabilizing your 5th wheel trailer that you are living in, the TrailerLegs Tire Saver Stands # 326-TRLLG-4 do require a tow vehicle to install and are also for when your trailer is in storage as opposed to being lived in. I recommend checking out the Ultra-Fab Economy 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer - Steel - 31" to 54" # UF19-950500 because it is a great way to stabilize your trailer while also being very easy to use. It is for king pins that are 31"...

  • Will Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers Work on a Trailer w/Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers
It sounds like the axles are not quite aligned. To determine if that is the case you can measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel on one side then do the same on the other side. If they are off by more than 1/8 of an inch you will need to adjust the axle positions by loosening the suspension, making adjustments, and tightening it all back up again. It would take a lot of force to compress the rubber springs in the Equa-Flex system and you would not be...

  • Should Two Pairs of the Ultra-Fab Chock and Wheel Stabilizer be Used on Triple Axle Trailer?
I do recommend using two pairs of the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers # UF21-001070 for your triple axle trailer. Doing so is going to give you the best amount of stability to limit the front-to-back rocking motion that will occur when you are parked. These stabilizers are designed to work with wheels that are 1-1/2" to 5-1/4" apart; I've added a link to video reviews of this product for you to take a look at as well.

  • Wheel Chock and Stabilizer for Tandem Axle Trailer with 2 Inch Gap Between Front and Rear Tires
The 2 inch spacing you have between the front and rear tires is enough to use Ultra-Fab chock # UF21-001060. It will fit tire spacing of 1-1/2 to 5-1/4 inches. I have included a link to a video review for you. For a set of 2 use # UF21-001070. You can also add a lock to the chock using # RM-301.

  • How to Determine the Correct Wheel Chock for a Keystone Bullet 281 bhs
Most of the wheel chocks on the market are universal items and not trailer specific. To determine which Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizer will work best for your Keystone Bullet 281 bhs, we will want to know the spacing between your tires (see photo). The Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizer, # UF21-001060, will expand up to 5-1/4 inches wide and it is available as a two pack as part # UF21-001070. • Recommended X-Chocks For A 17" Wheel Spacing
X-Chocks that fit a tire distance of 17" will actually go longer than 17" to ensure a tight fit against the wheels. For example I went out to the warehouse and measured the Super Grip Chock XL Wheel Stabilizers for Tandem-Axle Trailers and RVs - Qty 2 # UF21-001095 and they were able to extend past 18". I recommend going with the # UF21-001095 over the # UF21-001070 you were looking because the # UF21-001095 has adjustable feet to get a full grip against the tires unlike the # UF21-001070.

  • Recommended Tire Clearance Between Tires on Dual Axle Trailer
There should be 2 inches minimum between the tires on a dual axle trailer. This will allow the suspension components room to work properly but a little more room is ideal. For instance the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers for Tandem-Axle Trailers and RVs - Qty 2 # UF21-001070 is designed to be used between the two wheels and will work on wheel spacing between 1-1/2 and 5-1/4 inches. 3-1/2 to 5-1/4 inches is my recommendation. The axle spacing center to center should be between...

  • Stabilizing a Trailer Side to Side and Front to Back
Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers # UF21-001070 fits a wheel spacing of 1-1/2 inches to 5-1/4 inches, but not 1-3/8 inches. I recommend using a couple of traditional chocks such as # 337WC1467A. You could put one at the front of the front tire and one at the back of the back tire, or have them both between the tires to prevent tire movement. To help further stabilize the trailer I recommend using stabilizer jack set # UF48-979004. Each one of the jacks has a 6,000 pound capacity...

One of the Camco Premium Locking Wheel Stops # CAM44662 will effectively prevent the trailer from rolling. But adding a second one on the other side of the axles will further stabilize the trailer and help to reduce any wander from half the axle being unsecured. If you want a set of two you might prefer part # UF21-001070 or part # UF21-001091 from Ultra-Fab. These wheel stops will not be as effective as the trailer's actual stabilizer jacks at reducing roll of the trailer when you walk...

We recommend using 2 of the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizer # UF21-001060 when your trailer is parked as that will keep it more stable on both sides.
