Video Transcript for Review of MEC Propane Fittings - RV Propane Trunk Line Hose 3 Foot - MEC43UR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Marshall Excelsior Company RV propane trunk line hose. Now, this trunk line hose is a replacement or an extension for an RV's propane supply system. And this trunk line is what carries propane through the RV to downstream components. So this hose is gonna be useful when that line needs to be repaired, replaced, rerouted, or simply extended.

So this hose is gonna be right at three feet long and it has a 3/8 of an inch inside diameter. And on one end here, we have a 3/8 of an inch male NPT fitting. And then on the other end, we have a 3/8 of an inch female flare swivel. That swivel is gonna allow the connection to be made without having to rotate the entire hose. The hose itself is thermoplastic and it's UL and CGA approved for propane service.

Has a working pressure rating of up to 350 TSIG and a 400 pound pull test rating. And if you notice here at the end, we do have fully crimped brass ferrules. So again, this is intended to carry propane through the RV's gas piping system to downstream components and it shouldn't automatically be treated as an interchangeable replacement with every propane pigtail or tank regulator hose just because the fittings look similar. So you do wanna make sure that this is the actual hose that you need. I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.

Again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
