Have used these jacks for a season and have ran them up and down many times across several states. They are over double the strength of the original ones and should serve well for many years. When they were installed most of the bolt holes lined up with the originals but I did install 3/8s bolts instead of the 5/16 used by the factory. Even with this update of bilts the install went very smooth.

Overall the jacks work great.. They were installed on an old Dutchman Travel Trailer.. Used the screws supplied with the jacks.. They were delivered with one jack's mounting bracket bent. A heavy hammer and concrete straightened it out.

These are absolutely garbage. The fitment was off just enough that I had to fabricate new brackets. I understand they are made in China, but it truly looks like a child did the welds on one of the jacks. A weld on the inside scrapes everytime you make a revolution to raise or lower it. It was difficult to lower the first time and now it doesn't want to close all the way without some persuasion. If there was any quality testing done it should have been thrown in a scrap pile. I hope i just got a bad one but nothing about them says quality and i would not buy them again.

My other stabilizers didn’t hold the trailer stable . With these Lipper stabilizers which has a 5000 lb rating each , my trailer is a lot more stable. They fit perfectly to the original brackets and bolt up was easy. I will recommend this Lipper stabilizers to everyone. Thanks again.

I received the stabilizers and found them to be perfect for the rear end of our class C motorhome. Super easy to mount with 4 holes to drill in the frame. I no longer shake the motorhome when I climb the stairs, which fact has made my wife a happy camper. Scissor Stabilizer Jack Screws Will Not Turn
Hello Tino, thanks for reaching out. Are you able to turn the handle for the jack at all? Or is the whole thing locked up? If the handle turns but the jack does not move, it could be the nut on the other side is stripped and is not allowing the jack to go up or down. If the main screw isn't turning, it could be the screw has somehow disconnected from the screw. There is no lock mechanism for these jacks. For what you are wanting the best solution is a set of scissor jacks like the Lippert stabilizers part # LC285326 as these are adjustable with a long screw that runs down the jacks, and they have the height you need as they are adjustable up to 24 inches. There isn't a version of the # UF48-979004 that can be adjusted to a tall enough setting.

Recommended Replacement for a Domar Scissor Jack
I looked up the G-HDSJ-24 jack you're mentioning and it comes back to a scissor jack with a 7.5K capacity. Since we do not carry the Domar brand we are not going to have a direct replacement, however the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle - 24" Lift # LC285326 would work great. This part contains two jacks with a 24" lift height, a 10,000-lbs capacity, and only measures 4-1/4" when collapsed.

Can You Replace the Threaded Rod in the RV Scissor Jacks
There are no replacement parts for the trailer scissor jacks, if they are damaged such as the rod being bent then you will simply need to replace the jack for which we have the Lippert Scissor Stabilizer Jack part # LC285325 or part # LC285326 for the pair. Can Scissor Jack of Trailer be Used to Change Tire
Scissor jacks are only designed to be used as a way to stabilize a camper to minimize movement when you are parked and camping. They don't have the strength to support the full weight of a camper to change a spare and honestly it would be pretty dangerous to even attempt to do so. Especially if the trailer has a 9,000 lb GVWR. Instead a bottle jack like the part # ALL647501 would be a great option to keep with in the event of a blow out.
