Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement single axle trailer fender for your Malibu boat trailer. Now, this steel fender is gonna be a perfect fit for your single axle Malibu boat trailer. It's built from sturdy steel and it is designed to cover one tire and protect your boat and other vehicles from road debris. Now, I do have this elevated slightly so I can give it a spin here, but lemme see if I can try to show you what the height is.
I did measure the height before our time together, so I did verify it's right at 15 inches tall. Looking at the width here, let me bring this around. So 15 inches tall. Looking at the width here, right at 9 inches wide. And then looking at the length and end, this might be a little bit tricky to show accurately on camera, but lemme give it a shot.
Looks like we're sitting right at 32 inches. So this fender features this flat back and mounting flange. So it's going to sit flush against your trailer, giving you a clean, secure fit. And that close fit is going to like help prevent dirt buildup between the fender and the trailer. While this 1-inch rounded outer edge is going to add a finished touch, a finished look to it.
And this is gonna be a pretty easy bolt-on insulation. It is raw, so it's gonna be ready for primer and paint as soon as you get this installed. Of course, that's not only gonna make it look good on your trailer, but that primary paint's gonna give you that rust protection that you need as well, or this will just rust out if you don't do anything with it. This weighs about 8 pounds, but the fender is strong, it's practical, and you do see that we do have these holes here that are going to accept mounting brackets. You're just getting the fender with this so you won't get any hardware or brackets.
