  The color choices on the Fulton fenders like # F008561 are limited to white, # F008541, black # F008551, and gray. The fenders can be painted but the paint will not stick well so it will not last long. This is because of the polyethylene the fenders are made from. It is not an ideal surface for paint to stick to.   Sorry to hear about your old trailer burning down. For a plastic fender that you could use for your trailer the Fulton Fender part # F008559 would be a great choice. You said that your previous fender bolted to a vertical flange on the side of the trailer frame, this fender has a vertical side on it that will allow holes to be drilled through it and mounting hardware inserted through it. • Fender Bracket Recommendation for Use with the Single Axle Trailer Fender F008541
  The fender brackets we carry like the part # PF775-BKT-2 do have 3-1/2 inches between the mounting holes. These are the only ones we currently sell so to use them with the Fenders # F008541 you would either need to drill new holes in the brackets or the fenders. It would certainly be easier to drill through the plastic, but for a cleaner install you might instead drill through the brackets.
