Can Flat Backside of Single Axle Trailer Fender part # F008541 be Used as Attachment Surface

Question:
these fenders: Single Axle Trailer Fender w Top Step - Style C - White Plastic - 8 to 12 Wheels - Qty 1 Will attaching the flat back side of the fenders support the fender? I do not want to use brackets and I will not be using it as a step, but just as a fender.

Hey Barry, if you wanted to just run mounting hardware through the flat panel on the backside of the single axle fender part # F008541 you certainly could since you said you just wanted to use this as a fender and not also as a step.

Hey Barry, did mounting the fender directly without brackets work out for you? I'm curious to know because it could help others considering a similar setup.
