Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number F008561. This is the Fulton single axle trailer fender with a nice top step. It's going to be a style C for 8" to 12" wheels. Here on the ends it's going to feature 2 mounting slots. That's going to be identical on the other side. We're going to take measurement of those slots real quick. Center on center, those slots are going to be separated by 2-1/2", and they're going to measure 1/2"x 1/2".
They are a square design, and each slot on each end is going to be identical. It's going to have that convenient top step that's going to offer 300-pound weight capacity. You can see there that it has a nice textured surface to ensure a good grip when you're stepping on there making sure that you don't slip off and fall off of the fender. This is made from a high-density polyethylene material. It's going to be corrosion proof and impact resistant. One of the neat things about this fender is it has a scratch proof design. It's molded in color, and it's going to be in a silver color.
It's also available in black or white. The molded in color really makes it hard to see scratches if it does happen onto the surface of the fender. It's going to feature the built in fender skirt. Again, this is a molded construction. It's a solid piece.
It's going to be made in the USA. It is designed for single axle trailers with 8" to 12" diameter wheels. We're going to go ahead and go over some overall measurements real quick. The overall length measuring from edge to edge, that looks like it's going to give us a measurement of about 21-3/8". The overall height looks to be abou6t 6-1/2". If we take a measurement of the overall width, that's going to give us a measurement of about 7-3/8" wide.
The top step or this pad up here, I'm just measuring the textured surface. That's going to give us a measurement of 4" by about 5" here at the widest point. At the narrowest point, that's going to reduce the width to about 3-1/2" down here. Simple installation. Again, you're going to have the mounting slots that way you can install a mounting bracket, and you can use those holes to line up on the bracket and attach it that way. There's a lot of different varieties when it comes to what's the correct way to mount a fender to your trailer, but on this one, it does have the pre-drilled or pre-cut slots, that way you can attach it to a bracket. Again, you want to make sure you get a nice support system so it can support the 300-pound capacity that it's rated at here when you use the top step. That's going to do it for our review of part number F008561. This is the Fulton single axle trailer fender for 8" to 12" wheels. .
