Upgrade the oil or grease cap, O-ring, and plug for your Dexter axle. Red retainer ring shields clear viewing lens against damage. Large side plug is easy to access to fill or drain oil. Aluminum body with black coating is durable.

Hello, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the Dexter Fortress Threaded Aluminum Oil Cap for the 10,000 through 15,000 pound axles. That's right, folks, so new idea from Dexter, very nice product, the Threaded Aluminum Oil Cap. Now, this will replace the oil cap, O-ring, and plug for the Dexter and Valcrum axles off of those item numbers on the screen. This is a direct replacement. You got a nice red retainer shield here that's gonna protect the clear viewing area, that way, damage and stuff doesn't happen to it.
You got a nice large side lug here, plug, you can pull that out, makes it easy to access or fill, drain whenever. And this cap can actually double as a grease or oil cap, but predominantly, it's designed for oil. It's got a nice cast aluminum body, it's got the O-ring in here. And it's gonna be a simple install, threads on, threads off. You're gonna get one cap, one watertight O-ring seal, and the plug.
And again, for 10,000 pound to 15,000 pound axles. The overall diameter from side to side, counting that flange is four inches. It's a nice five-year warranty. And I wanna show you an expanded view of this, just so you get an idea of all the parts that are here and everything and how well it's built. So you got the nice cast aluminum housing, the plug, the O-rings, the clear looking view finder, whatever, and the red safety protector over that clear viewing ring.
And then you got your rubber cap like always, and then those screws with the thread lock on there to keep everything in place. So very nice product today by Dexter. Again, this is the Dexter Fortress Threaded Aluminum Oil Cap for 10,000 to 15,000 pound axles. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Caps are awesome. I had to buy a new axle. They had the new caps. My old axle had the old caps. I switched them. Looks like I have two new axles.

Worked on ny 12k dexter axles perfect and are much stronger than the plastic ones!
Excellent product, great quality and SO much better than the cheap clear plastic standard ones. These are a welcome addition to our large hydraulic arm boat hauler. Etrailer shipped super fast and had great prices and communication.
