More and more people are switching their trailers over to disc brakes, and with good reason. Disc brakes deliver consistent braking - even at highway speeds - unlike drum brakes, which often show a substantial drop in braking torque at higher speeds. In addition, disc brakes offer a substantially shorter stopping distance than drum brakes. Disc brake calipers have only one moving part, rather than the many found in drum brakes. This means that there are fewer parts to maintain, fewer parts to get damaged and fewer parts to have to repair or replace, thus reducing maintenance costs.
Integral Hub-and-Rotor Assemblies
The integral hub-and-rotor is made from cast iron, matching SAE specifications. Cast iron is ideal for high-temperature operations and offers a favorable friction coefficient to ensure adequate stopping power. Furthermore, machined disc brakes minimize the chance of contamination between the hub and rotor, resulting in excellent performance and long life.

Customer service was beyond exceptional. Received products in timely fashion. We haven't installed items yet, but they look to be of good quality.
Everything arrived as it should. Packaging was falling apart. Need to do a better job on packaging boxes were extremely heavy. Should put it in more boxes. Customer service was very good to work with called me and let me know something was on back order.And will keep in touch with me.
Disappointed in how this item was packaged and shipped. You can’t ship stuff out in a box of 108 lbs with ups, what are these people thinking in the shipping department.
Installed these brakes on my 5th Wheel in the summer of 2023. Completed the installation in two easy days with 2 other old men. Takes a little creativity placing hydraulic lines and the pump. Love this conversion. Never go back to drum brakes. Had to go from 10 gain on the drum brakes to 3 gain on the disk brakes. Driving through heavy traffic is so much less stressful knowing I have 10 wheels with disk brakes (6 on the RV and 4 on the truck). Stopping distance is reduced enormously. No problems with any component in the packaged as of 07/2024.
Finally installed after snow fell, Did not use supplied bearings as they were shipped loose in a plastic bag and not wrapped up and individually boxed as when you buy from a bearing supplier, so I purchased new timkin taper bearings and installed them instead. Bleeding the system was simple enough, now I just have to wait till spring to road test system.
This is a great upgrade to any large trailer. I have a 44’ toy hauler, w/ triple Lippert 7000lb axles. We’ll worth the $$. Took me about 12 hrs to install.
Hello we have a triaxle 45' Toater trailer combination we use for racing. Total rolling loaded weight is 46k. The trailer was equipped from factory with electro magnetic brakes that in combination with the air brakes on the truck using digital controller was very ineffective ! WE installed these and it now stops like your car ... VERY VERY good solution ! we had one clearance problem with the top caliper bolt and the inner finder that was easily modified for clearance. This solution is a effective easy to install and it improved my trailer stopping power 100% ... also you will need a double flair tool for a clean instillation
Excellent product, simple straightforward installation. It would be a good idea if they would include the endcap for the rotor on a conversion like this. Considering what it would have cost to buy all the parts to bring my drum brakes up to speed, it was a simple decision for a better brake system worth the extra few bucks. There are better places to install the hydraulic control then on top of the generator in the forward compartment. I installed mine underneath the propane tank, plenty a room just don't Close the bottom off completely so the ventilation stays intact for the propane.
best thing I could've done! better brake performance and less maintenance!

The brake system works very well. So so much better than the drum system. And super happy with the brake system.
